We moved to Hollywood Beach a year ago and finally decided to give Fisherman’s Sushi a try. The set up is a little strange, it’s like an abandoned food court that has just them operating out of it, in a small space. However, the dining area was an open with seats for full service. For me this is a pick up and go spot and not made for dining in. With that said the sushi was good and the service was fast. We had the caterpillar roll and the Fisherman’s roll and a beef teriyaki box. The flavors were good and it did taste fresh. The price point was also fair. So for me this is a great spot to pick up from or have delivered.

When I arrived for my order I was asked my name, then the same guy who spoke to me in English brought another guy out to tell me that it would be another 10 minutes. They were not what you’d consider rude, but they weren’t friendly. I ordered a spicy crunch roll that was made up of some imitation stuffing and lots of tempura. It was not fresh seafood at all. It was like going to McDonald’s instead of a bbq Fourth of July homemade burger. I prefer fresh sushi with minimal additions like sauce, tempura and veggies

I would definitely recommend I went yesterday and the food is delicious and the price is affordable! Thank you to the waiter for taking our order he was very attentive and came to check on us if we needed anything. Great customer service and there is little to no wait time. The area is by the harbor which I love. Will definitely return!
