Online pickup is a complete joke
I’ve been to CA Handles Ice Cream twice in the past week, and both experiences were awful.
Visit #1: I ordered online and got the notification that my order was ready. I went straight to the pickup window and stood there for 25 minutes while they helped everyone in the main line. Employees kept walking past the pickup window, avoiding eye contact, and never handed me the order. The whole point of pickup is that you grab and go all they had to do was hand me the bag.
Visit #2 (today): I tried again and ordered online at 8:45 PM. The app said it would be ready in 16 minutes (9:01). I could literally see the line from my hotel window, and my pickup time kept getting pushed back… and pushed back… all the way until closing at 10 PM. I never got the ice cream I paid for, and I was charged with no refund.
Terrible customer service and a broken online ordering/pickup process. There are way better ice cream spots in the city go literally anywhere else.

Absolutely enjoy Handel's They have so many good flavors to choose from, the prices are reasonable the location is great and the cashiers are super friendly.

My favorite ice cream place in town. They have an overwhelming amount of flavors and service is fast. Don't get fooled by the high prices. While they are high, the servicing portions are fenomenal.

Handel's has the BEST ice cream. With every bite, you can taste the freshness and quality of all their ingredients. They also have the most amazing flavors. Some of my favorites are: Monkey Business, Brownie Dough, Buckeye, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie. I've tried almost every flavor and you can't go wrong with any choice you make. AND they are generous with their portions! The small size has a good amount of ice cream...more than at other ice cream places I've visited. Give them a try - you won't regret it! It's the only ice cream I eat now :)
