Well let me start off by introducing Derrick the Chef. My workplace orders there 3-4 times a week. I was placed on the phone with the Chef Derrick who was insanely rude basically saying he was not wrong. If i remember the customer is always right. I have never been spoken to like that by a "professional man" in my life. I said well you are about to loose our business. He than said " Well i don't care i am still getting paid my pay checks are there". All we wanted was the re fund for the incorrect sandwiches. That is when a nice woman grabbed the phone. Thank god for her or this would have escalated. That is no way to talk to anyone. I am sincerely disappointed. I will make sure to tell everyone about this incident. I would give it no stars if possible.

Happy Times Cafe is strategically located in a heavily corporate and professional part of Long Island. With that being said, there are a multitude of office buildings, including my own that orders from here very often. We had an unfortunate experience today whereas the order we had put in to the restaurant, had arrived in our office with items that were incorrectly prepared. Without getting into too many details, almost all of the items had been prepared with ingredients that we didn't ask for. Normally, we wouldn't say much if there was a mistake with one or two, but there were a multitude (entire order). When following up with the restaurant on the mistaken orders, the response was unlike anything we have experienced in the past. We took an even-toned approach to mention what was incorrect on the order and experienced a severe lack of customer service and professionalism that is entirely unacceptable. It's 2018. With the multitude of options we have at our disposal to get something as simple as breakfast, why not admit when a mistake has been made? Excellent customer service is born and bred, extremely poor customer service is also born and bred. Will not order from here again. It's a nuisance. **Addition** If you have a client escalation, you as the restaurant owner or manager should be handling it. No one else.

Have you ever ordered a burrito and received a sandwich instead? No? I didn't think so. However, that's what you would get here at (Un)Happy Times Café... A few friends and myself ordered a plethora of sandwiches from this Café and the majority of them were made incorrectly. Not only did we reach out to them to inform them of their mistakes... They responded in an extremely unpleasant way. It was clear that the employee on the phone, Derrick, had extremely poor customer service skills. Derrick was rude and unapologetic. If I had one message for the owner of Happy Times Café, it would be to change the name of the Café to 'Sandwiches r Burritos!'.

Work about 3 blocks away and finally decided to stop in. Had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich with Onion Rings. Some one got the same with fries, one got a Reuben and another got the Jackie Robinson. Everything was good, and it came out pretty quick. Decor is nice, if your into the throwback 50's theme. The odd things was, there was nobody else there. People came and went to pick up stuff, but we were the only ones who sat and ate. We all thought that was a little strange. Other than that, it was fine. May be back. I read the California wrap is supposed to be good.

Not a good place to sit and get food. The service is incredibly slow and the food looks very haphazard. I will not be coming back here again.

So I had a lunch meeting this afternoon at the Happy Times Cafe on 110 in Melville. I have to say that the Cheese Steak sandwich i ordered was totally up to par. I understand that the restaurant is under new Management, not that I have any experience before today but If you're looking for a nice place to have a quick bite in Melville. Give it a shot!

I had a business networking event here and it was a great experience! The staff was friendly and efficient, the place was set up nicely, atmosphere was upbeat and our event was a success! I am looking forward to hosting more events at this place. Easy to find and food was delicious and filling! Happy Times Cafe= Good times :-)

This is a cute retro cafe and bar located on the northern part of the Route 110 corridor (Broadhollow Road). Burgers, fries, sandwiches and drinks after work. Tucked inside 535 Broadhollow office building it is a cute place amid the office buildings. A nice new manager is in from upstate and putting alot of time into making it a nice place.
