I gotta be real with you all. I have never written a bad review, but I felt compelled to for this place
Service 1/5 - waited 30 min for bread
Food 1/5 — absolutely AWFUL AND BASIC
Ambiance 2/5
And this is all with prices that are way over-inflated. As though it’s actually a good restaurant with flavorful food and good service. Which it’s not. Save your trouble and go somewhere else.
I wish the owner and staff well, but man, this place SUCKS!!! One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life
Amazing wine experience and the food blends well together beyond delicious
It was an excellent experience
Disappointing. The main steak entree at 70 and 85 does not come with a single side!
The vegetable medley costs 12 and the server fails to tell you that in advance.
The 22 Cesar salad is inadequate, small and lazily arranged. Just whole lettuce leaves with drops of Ceasar dressing plopped in random places.
The steaks themselves were very tasty. However they don't warn you that there is a giant piece of beef tallow margarine plopped near the steak which can easily be mistaken for a vegetable like my wife did and it was rather unpleasant.
It felt rather parsimonious and that the restaurant was being frugal in not providing brocoli carrots etc with the main entree.
Over priced and over rated.
I had a good experience here for my birthday. It is on the pricier end but they have fantastic wine with upscale service.
Great wine
Nice restaurant and nice wine tasting but do not book for big events. They don't have the capability to serve large groups. The steak was not edible. It took 30 minutes to get tea. While the restaurant and the wine tasting are great, there is no capability to serve a large group. You get cold somewhat tasteless food with no service. The steak seemed processed food.
This review only applies to groups.
Ambiance.
A very nice time is always had at this winery. They're tastings are very fair and the wine is usually, and this time as well, very good. I even purchased a couple bottles to enjoy later. The staffing there has always been very nice and pleasant. It's important to note here that of all the wine tastings that I do the places that I've been, the pricing here has been the fairest out of everybody.
How can you mess up bread and garlic olive oil. They can big time

we had a great experience at the Hertzog winery restaurant they had phenomenal service, exceptionally good food, was a beautiful experience.
Amazing experience!!
Our family went to Herzog winery a couple of days after Christmas and enjoyed their tastings. We picked up a couple of bottles of their sparking wine that were so good. We enjoyed a couple of appetizers while hanging out. The server was very attentive and accommodating. It's not the cheapest tasting experience, but it was worth it. Try it out when you're in the area

The wine tasting was great! I am not much of a wine drinker, but you definitely get your moneys worth if you can power through the wines you dont like and finish them all. I would do this again. P.S. you get to keep the menu and pen as a keepsake.

Food was not great. Salmon was horribly fishy. Service was rude and rigid. Definitely never going back.
