Unfortunately the food was just mediocre!! I ordered salmon, which unfortunately was way too done!! My friend had pasta with scampi, which was unfortunately overcooked!! Plus point: The boss wanted to bring him a new meal and the failed meal was not charged!!

Super classy great food/service at reasonable price - in historic surroundings. We visited for our anniversary, and I can’t recall a more enjoyable evening. The settings & furniture were exquisite. Get to your reservation a little early and enjoy the surrounding historical buildings gathered from around Oxnard into a Heritage Center. Each property has a little description that is quite educational. Or, wait until you’ve enjoyed the great food for that after-dessert stroll. The food was amazing, from Mahi Salad to full steak dinner with excellent merlot. Same a few sips of that red wine to enjoy with their chocolate cake with raspberry, whipped cream & pecan topping. Whew. As you can witness with the photo, the servings are huge. (We took home another full meal - really.)

Our dinner was amazing! My wife had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Duck. I've never had duck that was so delicious and the rice was amazing. I know what I'm ordering EVERY time I go there. They also know how to pour a proper Guinness!

Popped into this cute little spot when I got off the train….ordered Affogato and a creme brûlée tart - omg?. The tart was warm and delicious. The Affogato had two flavors of gelato my fave was the salted caramel and I was given a shot of espresso to pour. So fabulous. Love the music playing. Made me want to sit and enjoy and not feel like I’m in an Amtrak station. You must try☕️

This wonderful place is open, fabulous food, huge portions and reasonable price for the excellent service and quality of food. The beet salad is unlike any I have ever had. The stuffed pork loin was tender and the vegetables were fresh. Parmesan mashed potatoes were a perfect complement. Wine list is not large but the selection choices are good. Highly recommend.
Great food in romantic setting and friendly servers. Lots of great fish entrees as well as flavorful Italian classics.

This place has great food and drinks. So their downstairs area is called 1901 speakeasy and it's my favorite place to have cocktails in Oxnard. Will is the best bartender!! He makes some of the best old fashions. I love their drinks and the Southside is good and many others. Hope this helps
