I returned to Mariscos el Pulpo after 13 years. Met up with a friend and talked for hours. Did not feel rushed to get out, thanks to their wonderful staff. I will say it's still good food and atmosphere, although food seemed more flavourful before. I did not get seafood this time so that may be my downfall....will definitely return and get you know. Lol

The campechana is to absolutely DIE for here. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat and it's worth the drive from thousand Oaks. The Carne Asada is also really good too. It's always flavorful and juicy!

Mojarra frita review..excellent crispiness, flavorfull, and a nice generous portion. Couldn't finish mine. I ordered mine with rice & salad. They bring you tortillas corn or flour. Pairs well with a Tecate michelada!

I went today to get two tostadas I was charged $25 dollars the tostadas weren’t even in the bag I requested salt lime and tapatio nothing they where to busy talking with each other it was horrible service never ever going back I had a hand full literally it was all veggies no shrimp no pulpo how can these people stay in business wow I counted the pulpo pieces and the half shrimp they cut and wow hope this gets to the owner

Unfortunately did not enjoy our visit. Service was slow, food was bland and overpriced for what it was. Went on Saturday night and it was dead, should've been our 1st clue.

Hands down my very favorite mariscos spot in all of Oxnard!!! The seviche is absolutely perfect and always consistently tastes the same every time I go there with my fiance and her daughter. Very reasonably priced and always friendly service. I recommend El Pulpo 10/10 times to anyone who's craving fresh and expertly prepared seafood!!!
