The service was top notch; attentive without being intrusive, very friendly and outgoing, accurate, and willing to provide suggestions when asked. The food was innovative, delicious, and fairly priced. The atmosphere was lively and fun, but we not so loud we could not carry on a normal conversation at our table.
We loved it at Ox and Ocean. First of all, it's in an exquisite Resort, atmosphere was elegant yet fun! We ordered a special meal of brisket, corn on the cob, baked beans, Cole slaw and cornbread. The waiter even asked how we'd like the brisket cooked, no one has ever asked us that! It was so tender! The only qualm I had was with the cornbread. It was cold, and rather non-existent. We also ordered the oxtail Bao buns- absolutely beautiful presentation and so lick your fingers yummy! I would have like a little less hoisin in the Bao. It overwhelmed the meat a bit. If we lived closer we would definitely come back!
It's a lovely place But very expensive! My fish tacos had very tiny pieces of fish. But tasty The burger was very generous and delicious- fries were very good Lohr Chardonnay was outstanding Arnold Palmer was great It was the meager pieces of fish that I gave the rating on
We had a wonderful dinner here. We weren't guests at the hotel but wanted a nice location. Service was very friendly. We shared the brussel sprouts-which were a very large portion. I had the crab cake and it was delicious! Afterward we walked down to the dunes to catch a great sunset.
Came here to celebrate my birthday while checked in the hotel. First, the food is ok to good. For appetizers, we had the crispy potatoes, yellowtail aquachile and beet salad. We liked all of them. For mains, we got the pork chops and the prime rib. Both good portions and delicious. The service however is lacking. We didn't see our sever for quite a while. We wanted to ask about another menu because we were seeing other people served food that was not in the menu given to us but the server was nowhere to be found. She comes back and said "I know I haven't checked on you in a while". So she knew. This happened twice. Then after our meal another server came and brought a bowl of vanilla ice cream with berries. My friend said "theres no candle?" Then the same lady server came right behind and said "they didn't listen to my instructions". So we thought she was gonna come back with a candle but we soon realized she wasn't. We just expected a little bit better service especially when celebrating an occasion at a nice restaurant.
Came to Ox and Ocean with my family for the first time to celebrate a belated Father's Day. The food was delicious, a few of us ordered the chilaquiles and were blown away by the taste absolutely delicious. Not to mention the amazing drinks. We loved the ambiance and location. Definitely a spot for a quick getaway. Will be back with the hubby, can't wait to explore the dinner menu.
Very enjoyable dinner; able to sit outside with great music in the background; staff very friendly and attentive; The halibut was superb, prepared perfectly. I'll be frequenting this restaurant often!
Overall, the food was DELICIOUS. I decided to get a mocktail. I was told they can make the blueberry basil margarita without alcohol. I ordered that. I was shocked to learn it was $18...the same price as the alcoholic beverage. Usually cocktails are priced based on the alcohol. They aren't opening a bottle and pouring in the alcohol, so I was a bit taken back. I learned to always ask how much a mocktail is before ordering when not on the menu. But again, service, ambience, and food was fantastic.
Cute place. We had a lovely spot by the pool with a view of the ocean. The food was great. I had the avocado toast with a side of the bacon (the marinated(?) one - yum! Server Adriana was good, but there was one lady (Caucasian) who assisted her in bringing out the food. We were missing steak knives for our steak. I asked for her to bring us knives, and she was like "ok," - like "sure, I heard you, but I don't care." I'm not surprised; she never came back with the knives. I mentioned Caucasian because there was another lady who was helping Adriana, and she is African American. I had no issues with her.
It was a very relaxing dining experience and the staff were very hospitable. The crab cakes are filled with delicious crab. The Halibut is one of the best, perfectly cooked and delectable. You should also try the Brussel Sprouts with homemade bacon. It was really fantastic. The best part is when we went for a walk to see the beautiful ocean after.

One of the most unique and enjoyable meals we have had in a while. Sergio was very helpful and the other staff enjoyable. We shared each item. The crispy potatoes were wonderful with the fresh butter and sofrito, we ate all of them. The strawberry salad was my wife's favorite but the pork chop with the apple bacon chutney was mine, it was the best I have ever had. We finished by Sharing the Strawberry Pie with ice cream. Seldom do we not leave food when we leave a restaurant. This time, nothing was left. It was as close to perfect as a meal can get.
Had a lovely dinner on the Sunday evening before Memorial Day. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and lively. One small note — the front hostess could’ve been a bit more friendly, but overall a great experience!
Food was very bland. The chicken and pasta we had did not have any taste. It was like eating air. Not bad taste, just no taste.
We had the most amazing dinner with the help of our wonderful server, Aga. She curated the most fantastic pairings and was such a joy!
Went there for breakfast ambience was great. Service is OK. Food was OK. Would probably go back and try dinner.
