Had a lovely dinner on the Sunday evening before Memorial Day. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and lively. One small note — the front hostess could’ve been a bit more friendly, but overall a great experience!

We had the most amazing dinner with the help of our wonderful server, Aga. She curated the most fantastic pairings and was such a joy!

We had the sliders and tri tip sandwich delivered to our room. The tri tip sandwich was ok but a little fatty. The sliders were plain and dry with no ketchup or cheese or any sauce to speak of. In addition, there was no ketchup for the fries on the side so you couldn’t even try to make it taste good or dip your fries in anything. For the price might as well go some place else or have another restaurant deliver. Lastly, it took a long time as if they were coming from a place far far away. Maybe it’s better if you go there but it seems like if you don’t they will charge you more but not really care about your overall experience.

We had reservations for Mother’s Day dinner, but the experience fell short. Our seats were wet, and our server seemed exhausted, likely because she was juggling both indoor and outdoor tables. The food and ambiance were just okay—not what we expected for a special occasion. I had hoped for a nice, upscale dinner, but it felt more like a hangout spot for people coming from the pool. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for a fancy dining experience.

I ordered the Maple Bourbon Brussels and was very disappointed. The sprouts were completely burnt and bitter, with only three tiny bacon bits, and missing both pecans and cranberries as listed on the menu. The swordfish was also burnt, and the chicken was extremely dry and tough.

We waited over an hour for our entrées even though the restaurant wasn’t very busy (some table empty), and no one came by to refill our water in time. Although the restaurant eventually comped our meal, we left hungry and frustrated, having never received a dish that was properly prepared.

Great restaurant but if you are curious about the almonds, here they are! Just almonds and not super special or worth the price. Tri tip sandwich is excellent and everyone else loved their food. The ambiance is great. Comfy and spacious seating

Aga was a character and a fantastic server tonight. She made our anniversary truly special. Her customer service was exceptional—she made us feel so comfortable, almost like family. Despite a minor inconvenience, her professionalism and warmth stood out. We would definitely come back just because her service was that great!

Ps: the burger and fries were phenomenal!

Food was pricy and not much for you money. Ordered crab cakes, you think since it's plural you would get 2, but you only got one.

Surprisingly exquisitely prepared offerings to wet your palate and fill your tummy… the halibut was crispy and melted in my mouth, the Caesar salad was bright and satisfying, the smashed potatoes were comforting and the strawberry 🍓 hand pie took me back to childhood! Aga’s attention and charm are priceless! All in a beautifully appointed dining environs. We just wish the lights were more dim for ambiance.

My wife and I ate at the Ox and Ocean located at the Mandalay Beach hotel resort for breakfast. The restaurant has a nice inside decorum. We had brunch and the food was very delicious. We definitely recommend the strawberry fruit smoothie! The service was excellent and all the staff were very helpful. We had some specific questions about dietary restrictions and they always the answer to our questions promptly. They had a nice outdoor seating and outdoor bar area, which looks nice to enjoy on a sunny day.

Later in the day, we ordered food from the restaurant to enjoy by the pool. The cheeseburger and wings were amazing. They were seasoned well and quite tasty. If you are staying at the hotel or in the area it’s a good place to grab a bite!

Not for the breakfast or brunch! Takes an hour to get your food. Also a coffee you will wait for 30 min . Looks like they have only one chef!

VERY very overpriced lack-lustre food. The food took a long time to come out and was not hot. Very sad as we'd heard it was good. Will not be back!

Made a reservation for dinner on Sunday, but it wasn’t busy, so I don’t think a reservation was needed. This restaurant is located inside a hotel. Parking in the garage was free with validation. The menu has a mix of small and large plates that can be shared. My bf and I got the yellowtail aguachile ($21), short rib bao buns ($24), swordfish ($39), and lobster pappardelle ($48).

I was pleasantly surprised with all the dishes, but I wish the dishes came out one at a time instead of all at the same time, because some of the dishes were cold/lukewarm.

The yellowtail aguachile was fresh and tender. The short rib in the bao buns were quite tender, although could have been warmer temperature-wise. The swordfish shocked me because some pieces were super tender. Swordfish is usually dry to me, so I was impressed by the tender parts. The swordfish was cold when it came out, but the waiter was able to warm it up for me. The sauce was yummy and light, and I liked the turnip and eggplant. I was impressed by the large lobster pieces in the pappardelle. The lobster was pretty tender. The sauce for the pasta was not very strong. Overall, I would recommend all 4 dishes we got! On the pricey side, but good for a special occasion.
