Food is great, surrounding location is not so great, but the customer service is pretty horrible and food takes forever to be prepared. Don't even try calling for food to be made ahead of time because it will not be ready even after 15-20 minutes after you called. You would think it is understaffed, but it is usually younger adults who just are there talking. They are not rude, but do not ask if we need assistance and it just takes forever even when there is about 7 or 8 people in that little kitchen. Otherwise the food is still Popeyes quality.
As I stood in line, watched vehicles go thru drive thru while we waited... I try to use rewards points to find out 3/4 of rewards are unavailable at this store. I order and watch 4 vehicles go thru to every 1 lobby order filled. After watching 11 vehicles go thru after I ordered.. I get my order and assumed a simple 3 tenders & 3 PCs of chicken meals would be as ordered... NOPE... Both are tender orders and 1 side was missing... Poor service, unfair focus on drive thru and inept order fulfillment. We used to be excited to get Popeyes chicken... Now? We will go see colonel sanders at KFC. Survey asked what we got? Doesn't list " not what we ordered"

I tried to order something at the drive through at popeye's in Oxnard and the stupid machine couldn't understand what I was asking gave me no assistance and I finally just gave up and went to Kentucky fried. If this is what you're gonna be doing to replace the employees, I won't be buying Popeyes anymore. You need to get rid of that assistant that you have.

Automated drive-thru is horrible. Never works and is a waste of time. Always have to speak with a drive-thru attendant anyway.
