Aside from service at this location, Red Ribbon Bakery is one of my favorite places to eat empanadas. The chicken empanadas are filling and fill out the pastry. They are not as flavorful as the pork empanadas which have less filling. Nevertheless, the pastry is flaky and yummy. Until I find another place that offers great empanadas, RRB is my place to visit. They do offer a variety of cakes and bread.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are two wheelchair parking spots closer to Walmart with access on each side of the strip mall of other eateries. The Starbucks side has wheelchair access and closer.

Went in to get a slice of ube and some chicken empanadas (4, I believe). The order took more than 30 minutes for us to get. The people working behind the counter were consistently confused about what we had ordered even after we showed them the receipt. This place isn't worth the wait. While the food was ok (at best), it definitely not worth putting up with this level of incompetence. Won't be going back or recommending to anyone.

Ask for beef, and they gave me all chicken. Even tho I told the lady beef and she repeat the order and said beef. Later they gave all chicken and THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENS!

Small and a bit crowded. Just a few tables. Perhaps maybe in the future they will add more staff to expedite the orders. Palaboks yummy

I ordered one of their Mango Supreme cakes for a pot luck on the 14th. The theme was Filipino food and apparently this bakery is pretty popular in the Philippines. My co-workers loved the cake and I thought it was great.Regular cakes either have too much frosting or terrible frosting or that whipped cream artificial colored frosting that's just kind of okay. This cake was light and not an overbearing amount of sweetness. I tried their palabok, the taisan and today I bought their butter mamon. All of it was great.I might come back to order a roll cake for my mom's birthday in May. Keep up the good work. ♡

I don't normally do reviews but I think all the ones listed below 5 stars are completely UNFAIR! This was my first time going to a RR in YEARS. I cannot tell you how happy I am that they are open in Oxnard of all places. As soon as I walked in I noticed how organized it was. Everything was displayed phenomenal and easy to find. I walked out with 3 wrapped pastries and 1 Ube flan and all of them surpassed my expectations. The cashier was super nice and helpful. This is a bakery people! If the coffee isn't to your liking there is a Starbucks next door. This place is known for their cakes and pastries. I swear people take the time to complain instead of saying something positive. And we wonder why there aren't more Asian bakeries or grocery stores out here. To the people of RR Oxnard, thank you for opening and keep doing what you're doing. I will be a dedicated customer. Thank you <3

The coffee is a bit scorched at times as in it has a slightly burnt taste to it. Other than that, it's ok

Overall, very good. The "empanadas" are amazing with the combination of savory goodness of the outer-crust with the great meat mixture on the inside. I typically purchase a dozen and share utilizing a little discount while help marketing this place. The only bad experience was being served scorched coffee that no cream and sugar could salvage. So, I recommend this place for lunch, not a late breakfast. Definitely worth a try if you like empanadas.

Bought a family pack for the pancit palabok. This is actually how much it was filled up when everything was moved to the side. Not even a whole container. It was not like this when the store initially opened.
