I came here for the first time today. Leslie the cashier helped me out. She was very welcoming when I came in and helpful with explaining their menu options. I asked for a recommendation and she recommended the California bowl. She was really interactive with me and made my experience very pleasant. I am very satisfied with my first experience here and the food was amazing too. Thank you Leslie! Will definitely be back!

One has a choice of type of fish. The mahi-mahi was good. I also had the shrimp taco with street corn. The corn was grilled and tasty but was not the type of street corn I've had in Mexico or Ecuador.

This place is great overall!! Food, clean, and friendly service. The fish tacos are bomb w a nice piece of fish, golden fried, with a yellow corn tortilla. The bowls under $10 are packed with flavor. Best over all, the Lead, Johnny I believe is super friendly and attentive. Hope that management and higher knows they have a true gem helping out. Rare to see service like that nowadays. Definitely recommend coming here.

Delicious tacos, I love the grilled shrimp and chicken gourmet tacos which have bacon and avocado and love! Their sauce that goes on the tacos. Quick, relatively cheap and delicious

I visited this location on May 15th and forgot my wallet. I didn't realize I had left my wallet until the following morning. As any normal person would do I began to panic and put holds on my cards. When the restaurant opened the person on the other line confirmed they had found my wallet and that it was locked away in the safe: I made the almost 2 hour drive back and the staff was so helpful and I was handed my wallet back with nothing missing. It's easy to lose faith in people but the staff at this particular Rubio's restored my faith in humanity. We had stopped on our way to Cachuma Lake and my hubby insisted we stopped on our way home because it was the best Rubio's he's ever had. The Rose Ave location earned loyal customers. Thank you to the staff and management for showing world class integrity. The food was great. My husband had the mahi burrito and I had the salad, The dining was spotless and their service was quick.
