Great tasting tri tip.. but extremely small portions. BBQ sauce is meteocore. $18 tri tip plate that included 2 pieces of Texas toast, macaroni salad and, beans. 4 small slices of delishes tri tip

The chicken tenders were so yummy! Very juicy on the inside and crunchy on the out. The mac and cheese was surprisingly very good too. Would definitely come back if in the area!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We decided to forgo the traditional Thanksgiving feast this year and opted for Smokin' Js instead, and it was an incredible choice! For our group of 8, we ordered the pulled pork and pulled chicken, along with baked beans, cheesy potatoes, and Southern green beans. Every dish was absolutely amazing! The flavors were on point, and we loved that we had plenty of leftovers for several meals afterward. It made our holiday even more special. Thank you, Smokin' Js, for providing such delicious food! We can't wait to come back for more!

Felt bad cuz I took girlfriend to get some lunch and it did not hit. Spent $40 for the tri tip sando and she got the chicken sando with the “hot” sauce… not worth the price/hype.
Feel bad again cuz I’m from Ox and this shop is trying to hold it down but I can’t lie. Fries taste like they came from a bag, girly didn’t even eat half the sando and my Tri tip was basic Betty, not worth $20 at all.
Atmosphere is cool, but if you want some bbq in Oxnard, prob should go somewhere else. Sorry y’all. Will try again

Amazing amazing amazing. Thank you to Jay and his team for the best food/ hospitality!! The chicken sandwich was so crispy and juicy. The brisket melts in your mouth and needs no sauce. The Mac and cheese is so creamy and delicious that now I feel like I need to go once a week just to taste it again!!
