Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, in all my travels. So good it was almost a religious experience. Gabby could not have been more friendly, efficient and capable as she managed the breakfast rush all by herself. Do yourself a favor, go see her at Sugar Beats to get a smile and a phenomenal breakfast.

Great breakfast. I got the burrito and churros. You can also use Hilton food credit here if you charge it to your room. The churros were fresh and worth going back just for that.

This is clever. In the resort courtyard is a permanent Air Stream style trailer set up like a food truck! My wife and I enjoyed the delicious breakfast burrito, accented with a tasty tomatillo salsa. On Taco Tuesday we dined on al pastor, chicken tinga and ox tail tacos seated comfortably beneath the beautiful trees of the courtyard.

A great addition to the hotel. There aren't enough choices for food. This is a quick serve alternative that isn't as expensive.

Don't waste your money on this place. We stayed at the resort and decided to try Sugar Beats based on great recommendations from the front desk staff. Huge mistake....twice! The first time we decided to try their breakfast options and coffee. The breakfast burrito and chicken tacos were less than appetizing. Both meals tasted bland and looked something like a 5-year-old put together. The morning of our checkout, we decided to give Sugar Beats a second try, just to be disappointed once again. They were out of coffee at 9:30AM and said it won't be ready for another 30ish minutes. We opted for a double espresso. It tasted extremely sour and even with a little bit of sugar, we sent it straight to the trash can. We also tried the Nutella toast....which was what I imagine a diabetes on a plate would look like. It consisted of deep-fried bread pieces covered in sugar and cinnamon and topped with Nutella and a few strawberry and banana pieces. It was extremely sweet and just gross tasting.
Such a nice resort with a such a poor-quality, but expensive/limited food options truck. If I was the property owner, I would be ashamed to have this food truck serve food and coffee for my guests.

Sugar Beats,Where do I even begin with this nightmare of an experience? I was foolishly lured in by their deceptive Instagram post advertising a Taco Tuesday special with three tacos for $5. My wife and I made the regrettable decision to drive there, expecting a new and enjoyable dining experience. We were willing to overlook the fact that it was nothing more than a glorified food truck, as we naively believed the price was reasonable and it was conveniently located within Mandalay.Upon arriving, I was utterly appalled to discover that they were only selling tacos, and each pathetic excuse for a taco was priced at an outrageous $5. Against my better judgment, I decided to proceed with my order. When I inquired about their margaritas, I was informed that they only had canned margaritas for an absurd $8, which was a slap in the face as I had hoped for a homemade drink. I chose not to waste my money on their insulting margarita selection.I placed an order for two of each of the three types of tacos and two Cokes. The incompetent cashier initially misunderstood my simple order, resulting in a ludicrous bill of $105. After clarifying my order with the help of another equally inept staff member, the total came to an astronomical $52 for six measly tacos and two Cokes, which was nothing short of highway robbery. The wait time for our order was an agonizing 45 minutes, despite their pointless attempt at taking names. The salsa was carelessly placed on a table below the window, exposed to the elements and potential contamination from other customers, which was a blatant disregard for basic food safety and hygiene. When our tacos finally arrived, they were utterly tasteless and disappointing, especially considering the exorbitant price. To add insult to injury, the Cokes were served in flimsy plastic bottles and cost an astonishing $6 each, making me feel like I was being fleeced at a second-rate amusement park. The overall experience was an absolute travesty, and I cannot stress enough how strongly I advise against patronizing this establishment. I believe it would have been more cost-effective and infinitely more satisfying to order from a vending machine than to subject oneself to the misery that is Sugar Beets.
