Horrible service great mariachi though... and music after. I waited 2hrs for my breakfast and 2 hours for a watered down drink. Don't get the cantarito way. The jarritos drinks are bomb and prickly pear margarita excellent!!
Food and atmosphere were awesome and hesitated on the rating for service. The ONE server working as both waitress and bartender was great but service was slow due to not enough staff. I will say her attitude and the food made the wait worth it!
Well, first of all it's been about 6 months since I've gone...but I went by yesterday around 3 and they changed their hours!!! So instead of opening at noon, they now open at 4. So now the 3-6 Happy hour is now 4-6 happy hour....a 2 hour "So call happy hour".....?????.....What happened??? I miss the old place!!
The dining experience at SushiWay is amazing every time. The host and waitresses are super friendly and knowledgeable. The music is a bit too loud, but maybe it's tailored to the young crowd. Overall, this restaurant provides quality food and service.
It's definitely a younger person's hangout. I had to leave as the live band was starting up; too loud to hold any conversion after that.My friend liked his yakisoba dish. I got the salmon poké bowl... it was fine, but boring. It was a huge scoop of rice with a few saucy salmon chunks atop. The only poké I've ever had before that (at a different place) had so much more going on as far as ingredients and flavors.
Went in on a Sunday for brunch for my husband's birthday. The food is very authentic. Large menu many options to choose from. It is loud if you want a quiet romantic brunch this is not the place. They have a DJ and Mariachi's playing while you're eating. Very happy atmosphere. Will definitely go back again and recommend it to my family and friends!
I had a great time there this past weekend. They had some good music and good crowd with a reggae band. I will say, though that the bartenders as overwhelmed as they were, they were very polite and friendly, including a shout out to a young bartender girls. Alma attended to us & was quick. They looked overwhelmed but she was on point! Definitely will be back at that bar and hope they add reggae into the entertainment.
This place had an amazing vibe! Since we went on a Tuesday, there was not a big crowd or a wait. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday, so they had plenty of space for all of us to sit. The music was played by a DJ, and I really enjoyed the selected music he had.I do plan on going back because the Yakisoba was delicious. It's something I recommend eating fresh and not left over because it comes with an easy over fried egg.
Wanted to try out the sushi and some tacos, quickly changed my mind after the server dropped off the glass of wine. Still had food crusted on the glass and looked dirty. Menu looked interesting, but didn’t want to take our chances with raw fish
We came here to get dinner and drinks for our anniversary and we’re very disappointed with the service. The wAitress were credit however the cooks not so good!! My husbands good came out super quick while my one roll took forever!! We finished drinks and shots and my husband finished all his food and my order STILL wasn’t out!! They said they were backed up but we were one on 3 couples in the place!! Very dissatisfied!!!
Restaurantji Recommends
They really do have some great roles here but a lot of it is super off for Japanese food. They put their own spin on a few things and you can't order from the sushi bar. There Wasabi Ginger and sauces are serve to you and plastic prepackaged cups which is weird. But aside from the salmon sushi everything was good. The place you can go for a quick roll that's fairly good.
Servers here were very friendly and the establishment has a variety of food options for varying palates. The ambiance with the authentic mariachis playing is something you don't get to see much elsewhere. Highly recommend checking this place out, great for all ages but I'm sure adults will definitely appreciate the place a lot more. Very classy vibe.
I went for the first time today and I was very impressed with the food and drink. Everything was very good. I had the veggie roll and teriyaki chicken bowl. My partner had the Flaming Diablo Roll and Yokisoba. To drink I had La Tóxica mixed drink andy partner had the Micheway. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the DJ inside the dining area. It was very loud and half of the time I couldn't hear what my partner was saying, however he did play some really good music. Really good environment and the staff if friendly. We will definitely be going back.
This place is LIT. The house rolls are inventive and phenomenally put together. Growing up on Mexican food and loving sushi... they blew my expectations out of the water. My kids and the family we were visiting found something for everyone. If I had a hollow leg or second stomach I wouldn't have left. Looking forward to coming back asap-y.
They only get stars because the food was good. The service by Wendy(manger) was horrible. She didn’t not deserve $50 tip that’s “mandatory.”When we arrived we were the only table there. Place was EMPTY. The entire time we had to be waiting for her. I don’t mind tipping when they deserve it. When I brought it up to her she felt in titled to that tip. When we would look for her she would be in the corner talking to all the other servers. Won’t be going back due to service.
