I was very satisfied with the taste and portion of the food. It was delicious. Many great choices and staff that worked there were very good. I will be coming back. An easy off and on from freeway. Next time I'll try their handmade corn tortillas. They have a buffet on Saturday and Sunday and looks like a lot of great options. Even pancakes and eggs

I've eaten here for years. The food is always delicious and they have a great little salsa bar. Chips are extra if you want a basket for your table but some dishes come with chips on the side of the plate.

Wow! Three stars average?! Gotta go with a solid 4. Always friendly, great salsa bar with all the pickled onions and peppers and all that. Best chorizo breakfast burrito in my opinion. Always the best for me.

First time trying this spot and they even have a drive thru! Uber Eats have a bogo promo on burrito and we got grilled steak, it was humongous and filled with tasty bites! Couple days later we went back and got more steak burritos. And this weekend we decided to try the chicken burritos unfortunately it wasn't as good - tasted like boiled chicken so we shall stick with the steak burritos!Found out the buffet is $22/adult.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Ordered food via Uber eats. My chicken tacos were under cooked and OIL SOAKED. There was a glob that I first assumed was spilled salsa but turned out to be a hunk of lard. They also gave me the wrong beverage with an unwrapped straw that was covered in white dust and appeared to have been drank from. When I poured the drink out to toss the contaminated drink curdled milk clumps plopped out!!

I love this place! It is pricy but I always treated myself every so often. I was disappointed this time around. I went through the drive through on my lunch break and ordered a Chicken Torta. As I was almost done eating I noticed this red spot on the bread. I took a photo and threw it out! I got concerned and called the restaurant. I was just told to send a photo to the owner by email. I did this and also went back to the restaurant once I was off of work to show them a photo. I was told it could be something from one of their machines they use. Not even offered a refund and the owner didn’t care to even reply back to my email. That I send three days ago when it happened. It’s disgusting to see and even if it was a “machine” you should be careful. Just disappointed since I have been coming here for a while.

If I could leave zero stars for service I would. Worst customer service ever! Girls in the front are rude and all I did was ask for napkins. When I recieved my drink one of them threw the straw at me instead of just putting it down or handing it over. Sorry to say my family and I will not be coming back here. Great food, but definitely not worth being treated with just some common human discensy.
Horrible food. The prices are ridiculously high for flavorless junk. Nothing here has any flavor and food tastes plain old. I would not recommend.

My husband and I went there on a Sunday afternoon and the service was horrible. Brenda, who was the cashier was very rude. I attempted to use a gift card, she swiped it and handed it back to me and said it won't work for our system. My husband asked even though it's a visa. She literally looked at my husband and rolled her eyes and said it won't work. My husband and I just looked at each other like OK and my husband proceeded to pay. She slammed the receipt and pin down and said sign this and a very conniving way. The other worker that was there was also young and very rude as well. They forgot to give me my cilantro and onion, and when I asked for it, she looked at me like I was bothering her. I don't want to sound like I am nitpicking, however, I am a pain customer and should not be treated as if I am bothering you. I have frequent there before and service has been the same. I can honestly say that this will be the last time that I go to Don Chente in Oxnard . The food is overpriced, and the food is mediocre, and usually served lukewarm.
