HORRIBLE ATMOSPHERE!! The taco truck is parked next to a gas station so i parked next to the truck and when ordering service was okay, I don’t speak fluent Spanish and my server did not know English. I waited around 20 minutes for my food even tho there were only 4 people and they were already eating, but when i was taking my food back to my car which is 20 feet away from the taco truck a homeless man starts begging me for my food it was obvious he was on something so i told him i could give him $5 for the gas station he looked at me and started yelling saying “IM NOT HOMELESS I DONT WANT FOOD $&!@“ and he slapped the food box out of my hand. Keep in mind I’m 17 and I’m a girl I was already stressed out and I looked around to see if anybody was there to help me and staff and customers were just laughing at me

I've enjoyed the food from this place on several occasions, usually during weekends. The quality and consistency surpass many spots on Ox Blvd. My go-to order includes 4 tacos with various meats and the daily atole, always delivering an amazing experience.I've tried the atole de avena, atole de arroz, and champurrado—all have been consistently great. Although the food takes a while, likely due to handmade tortillas, I don't mind the wait for such quality. This spot is a reliable choice for me when visiting Oxnard. Bonus points for the fantastic cumbias playing in the background. On a side note, some reviews seem less than honest. While a three-star rating for dislikes is understandable, one-star reviews appear questionable and possibly not genuine. Can't wait to have the food from El Girasol again sometime soon. Thanks to the staff for always being nice and accommodating.

Came out for the Tamale Festival! Their pork and strawberry tamales were amazing! The tacos al pastor were delish as well! The salsa and the fresh made tortillas made I taste even better! Thank you!!!

Great food in mineral Springs it’s a must try
Great food and service! The drive is worth it.
I came here on a Monday, hoping to get some good tacos. However, the queso birria tacos I got had no cheese, the meat had no flavor, and it was really dry. I also got a torta, and that was alright, but again the meat was very bland.
Worst chapurrado I've had in my life. Besides the fact that it was cold, it had no flavor and chunks inside.Price of it was $2.50Didn't order tacos which was what I came for since staff said they only have certain meats on certain days. They didn't have cabeza, lengua or adobada. She said till Sunday.
Todo está riquísimo y lo mejor tortillas hechas a mano y económico todo
