It might go to when I'm in Oxnard. Everybody is so lovely. They're starting to know me my name! It's just a wonderful little place. Food is always good. Service is amazing. People are super friendly and they have music sometimes on Sundays for brunch. Next time I'm gonna try to make that

We had a wonderful Saturday night experience, sitting outside at The Waterside. They had a duo playing guitars that provided a fabulous ambience. I had the short ribs that you could cut with a fork, my significant other had the chicken Paillard. His was not exactly what he expected, more of a salad, lots of arugula with the chicken beneath it, but he enjoyed it. Great view of the harbor and very good service. We would highly recommend with the live music being a PLUS.

We went on a Saturday night when they had live music. The place was hopping but the service was great. We had short ribs and calamari. Bothe dishes were delicious. Great restaurant and a great value.

Waterside never disappoints. It is our go to restaurant when staying in Oxnard. The food, ambience and staff (especially Savannah!) are top top notch.

My crab cake and mushroom soup were very tasty. My dinner companions were equally pleased with their meals - pork chop and lasagna.

We were not happy with the food we got. We started with the 3 dips; the dips were fine but the pita points were "too fried". a bit greasy. They would have been better if they had been softer and not greasy. My husband ordered the chicken picatta. He said the sauce was "over thickened" like too much flour put in it and the pasta was over cooked, mushy. I ordered the short ribs. There was gristle & fat on the meat. The sauce did not seem to be as described on the menu; it had no pineapple and no "spice", rather bland. A very disapointing dinner in a great setting. No one even came by to refill our water. The white sangria was great!

Had a reservation for six people, for a work dinner. First time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Excellent and attentive servers, tasty food, and a beautiful view of the marina at night!

This is usually our go-to restaurant. This last visit was very disappointing. The crab Benedict was cold and flavorless. Service was poor. The atmosphere was wonderful as was the music

So this is the second time we visited within a couple of months, we use to eat brunch there a couple times a month. The service is good, atmosphere is good, but the food has been a disappointment on both our recent visits. Eggs over cooked, potatoes cold, and sausage was tough and overcooked. We used to love spending a Sunday on the patio, but recently have looked for other options. Please bring back the old Waterside…

Extremely disappointed with the manager, unprofessional and dismissive - picks who to provide quality care to and who not to - unreliable.

Worst breakfast ever, forgot my side of bacon, the french toast wasn't stuffed and was soggy as was my friend's waffles. Took her for her birthday brunch, will never return. Service took forever and it wasn't crowded. Thumbs down

Fantastic place to have a romantic lunch overlooking the harbor and the boats. The weather was absolutely perfect and the fish and chips and clam chowder were outstanding! We WILL be back!

Nice spot by Channel Island Harbor. Sundays are enjoyable with music on the patio.
