I had the pleasure of dining at Tierra Sur, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The entire staff was nothing short of exemplary—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in ensuring each guest had a wonderful time. I began my meal with the Chicken Caesar Croquettes, which were a delightful fusion of creamy Caesar flavor inside a perfectly crisp shell—an absolute treat for the palate. The Lamb Bolognese, served with papardelle pasta: it was rich and flavorful, with tender lamb in a beautifully balanced sauce that paired wonderfully with the light pasta. I also had the Capellini bathed in a rich but light pistachio pesto,. Alongside this, I ordered the Sweet Potato Fries, which were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. For the grand finale, I indulged in the Salmon Tartare, a fresh and vibrant dish with a deliciously light citrusy note that complemented the richness of the salmon. To top off the night, I enjoyed the Caribbean Carrot Cake—a unique twist on a classic dessert that was moist, spiced just right, and absolutely decadent. Overall, Tierra Sur Wine Cellars exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of expertly crafted dishes, an inviting atmosphere, and flawless service made for a dining experience I won't soon forget. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a refined yet welcoming culinary adventure.

Started with wine at the bar and also had a flatbread, all good. The menu is good, but it's locked in so there are no changes, at least with the wine pairing. We ordered a Delmonico steak MR but it arrived MW and we had to send it back. They were good with that and replaced it with a Ribeye at the same price and it was cooked perfectly.

It's an expensive restaurant that was quite a drive - the sort of place you go to for special occasions, that you should be willing to shell out lots of money for. The ambience is quiet and elegant. The service is excellent. The wine was amazing. That said - the food was underwhelming. Everything from the duck salad to the chocolate dessert tasted somewhat bland. At one point, I found myself wondering if I had lost my sense of taste and had COVID! The most disappointing part was the $75 dollar steak, which the waiter had specifically highly recommended. It was served room temperature on a bed of COLD vegetables. I ate a $75 steak served cold. For this, they comped by drink, but it didn't make up for the disappointment.

After reading the reviews, we expected a lot more. service was so, so , so slow.....waitress was very nice and informative but couldn't make up for how slow it was, and food not coursed out as we asked, not coming out hot, forgetting a wine pairing, etc........ sat at 6:40, left at 8:54, for two people to eat on a Sunday night. It wasn't that busy, and we had a very loud and boisterous group by us..we should have moved. Food was ok..nothing like the reviews....wished it were better...I see how it could possibly be a good experience when things are being run properly......

It was an enjoyable fine dining experience. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and unfortunately they didn't acknowledge that during our dining. The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. The food was good but I wouldn't say phenomenal at least for the price point I was a bit disappointed. We got 4 courses. My husband's Burrata Salad and Bolognese pasta were very good, while my his steak was average. I got the peach salad, pesto pasta, and market fish. None of my food was that amazing, the fish was even a bit dry. What I noticed is that there are no sauces with the main course. The dessert we got was the miso chocolate and it was delicious. I would return for a special occasion in the future.

The food, wine and service was excellent. It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne, very nice and surprising. They give you a taste of wine 1.5 oz with each course. The wine is very good. Our servers were wonderful. They treated us as if we were the only ones there. It was expensive but it was worth it! We loved it! We'd recommend this place.

Did not expect this fie dining in an industrial area. This was a wine and food pairing experience but did not live up. The food was pretty good but the wine didn't always match the food. It was a good experience and would go back again

I used to love coming here and I still want to keep coming. But I have to say that the quality of food and the portions of them have changed drastically to the worse. It’s unfortunate and sad because this place is nostalgic to me. Please get it together so we can keep enjoying this restaurant that we cherish.

I have been to a lot of kosher restaurants in my life. This may take the parve cake. The food was absolutely delightful, with surprisingly wonderful service to match. My steak was a perfect medium rare. The wine pours with each course really were a cherry on top and made it a much more immersive “winery” experience, even if not at a vineyard. I cannot recommend enough.

Returning after many years and notice a marked decline in Tasting Room merchandise but it still has an upscale presence. The Tierra Sur hostess and service was very professional and the restaurant retains an elegant evening ambiance. The big disappointment was the food: lamb pappardelle appeared fresh made but sauce and sausage had an unpleasant spicy flavor. The ribeye steak was thin, not very flavorful and extremely overpriced. The only redeeming aspect was a beautiful peach salad with greens and a sorbet dessert. I will not be returning.

Libby was amazing. She walked us through the wine tasting and was so flexible, informative, and sooo sweet.
This was a birthday tasting and dinner; I called at least three times + left the note in open table that we’re celebrating a birthday. I asked to bring a dessert, which the server at Tierra Sur (restaurant) forgot.
So service could be better and more attentive. I understand the server was relatively new… but Libby was amazing.

The restaurant is a bit expensive but the atmosphere is amazing and the food is excellent and there are many amazing wines from the winery. We celebrated our anniversary there and we were not disappointed. It was very relaxed fun and excellent food and amazing service!!!

Food is delicious and waiters are very knowledgeable of the tastes and ingredients. Fresh farm-to-table ingredients and pretty plating. Portions are a bit small for the price paid. Enjoyed the tastings of pairing wines with each dish (in and with the food). I just wish the food portions were a bit bigger considering the steep price. Beautiful experience until the end with a little mishap with the desserts. Always a wonderful visit. I wish they would bring back the lunch menu!
