We celebrated our 25th anniversary and this experience did not disappoint! The entire experience was next level; from the receptionist to the wait staff to the staff in their wine tasting room all were so kind, welcoming, professional and all gave us anniversary wishes. The food and wine pairings were phenomenal, truly a love for food and drink has been captured in every detail. Each course was delicious and presented in a lovely manner. For a magical evening in every aspect, this was truly a treat type of experience. It is a must!

The food and service was good. I will just say that for those who are interested in going, it is really expensive. The wine tasting bar is a cheap menu option, but the actual restaurant is really expensive. The food is good though!

I am deeply disappointed to share that the Tierra Sur restaurant failed to meet the high standards it once set. As someone who used to be a devoted fan, it pains me to see it transform into an extremely overpriced establishment that falls way short of its culinary promises. One would expect a truly exceptional dining experience when spending $200+ per person, but sadly, the cuisine has become average at best. In the past, every dish would tantalize the taste buds with unique flavors and creativity. It is disheartening to see such lackluster and below average cuisine without the innovation that once made this destination restaurant worth the journey.

I love this winery and the restaurant. The wines are good, the atmosphere is beautiful. Going up the stairs and seeing the barrel rooms from up above is so awesome! The dining experience is so nice. Have been here a few times with my husband, and also with my little daughter, and with my mom too. Brought friends for wine tasting.

The wine and high-level service were the shining stars at this Kosher restaurant. However, at the prices of the dining experience ($300) our culinary expectations were very high and we were disappointed. The half chicken was small, well seasoned and tender, but a tad undercooked. The 14 oz Argentinian ribeye steak had large clumps of exterior fat that comprised over one third of the steak. The meat had absolutely no marbling and was tough and sinuous. Had I purchased this steak from a market, this would have a USDA Select Grade (the lowest) piece of meat. Seventy dollars for a piece of steak where twenty five dollars was spent on inedible, large hunks of fat that frankly, would have been trimmed away by any other fine dining establishment, made our dining experience less than ideal. The quality of their wines shined and I would suggest partaking in the wine tasting offerings at the wine bar and skipping the dining room experience.

On Jan. 1, 2023, my family decided to experience Holiday brunch at this establishment. At the price of $95.00/person, it was understood that there would be some kosher selections. To our disappointment, there were no other options available! E.g. limited salad, dessert, meat and vegetable selections. Unbelievable! Plus, the options served were not prepared at a high quality.

We did the tasting room/cellar walk-through and then the restaurant. Everything was masterfully done. Delicious and felt like world away. The bread was perfection. The salmon tartare blended together beautifully. The coq au vin was rich but somewhat predictable but a good option for someone who wants a small meal instead of a main. (Another move if you want a smaller meal is to order at the bar during the tasting rather than the restaurant). The 14 oz Argentinian rib-eye was phenomenal. Perfectly accompanied by mushrooms and just a little bit of mashed potatoes. It was paired with the reserve Malbec - which I don't normally like (including when we tasted it in the tasting room), but you can't make changes and now I know why. The Malbec (which I normally find syrupy) went perfectly with the meat.(We took the Pacific coast highway up from LA and would definitely recommend stepping at the El Matador Beach which was stunning and added to the whole experience.)

Came here for Valentine’s Day, the vibe was super chill, not exactly intimate but definitely some good bustling energy overall! I never really knew what kosher food was but i’m thoroughly impressed that all of the flavors we tasted were achieved using absolutely no dairy products and the meat is literally blessed by a rabbi lol. We literally ate holy cow! Our waiter was also super kind and thorough with how he explained how the menu works and with how the wine is drunk in France and lots of other cool wine facts! I was over all just blown away and can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner!

This is a great restaurant but probably costs twice as much as the value it provides both in food and services, the food is very good not special though for this grade restaurant, sides were not really impressive. Service is also good but not great, had to wait long time for food, there was mistakes in delivering the wine paired, it was not waiter's fault as he tried his best I think it was management related and they were under staffed and in a rush, definitely did not feel relaxed vibe here.
