Out go-to place for Mexican food. Great crunchy tacos, margaritas and burritos. Right by the boats and water. Good ambiance and service.

I stopped by today to pick up a to-go order and decided to purchase a gift card. Unfortunately, the hostess processed the transaction incorrectly. When I got home, I noticed the charge for the gift card had not posted to my credit card. Wanting to do the right thing, I contacted the restaurant to let them know.
When I spoke with the manager, he told me his employee said I was supposed to return in 45 minutes to pay for the gift card — which makes absolutely no sense. I had already picked up the food I paid for online and left with the gift card in my possession. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they accused me of theft.
To make matters worse, they canceled the gift card because I “did not return to pay for it.” This error was entirely on their employee, who both processed the transaction incorrectly and misled her manager. I am deeply offended that my integrity was questioned when I did the right thing by reaching out.
I’m also extremely grateful I hadn’t yet given the gift card to its intended recipient — it would have been humiliating for them to discover it had been canceled and held no funds.
I am furious with how this situation was handled. Management needs to address this with their staff immediately. I hope no one else has to go through such an upsetting experience. If you want to avoid this kind of incompetence and disrespect, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

We had a large party, including my disabled mother. The staff was friendly, seated us promptly, and kept us in chips and salsa while we waited for our entrees. The food was great and the overall experience was great for my family.

Good food at fair prices, We sat on the patio which has a great view of the harbor. They have a large menu with something for everyone The Margarita's are good, perfect with Mexican food. We have been several times this year for the brunch

We were told by locals this was a very good Mexican restaurant. They have an outside covered patio and a dog friendly patio as well. They seated us in the ouside patio at pretty much the worst table in the place. Next to a serving area with dirty plates/glasses. Servers were coming and going. And a broom and mop in plain view for us to enjoy(sigh). Large menu. Comp chips and salsa. Loud atmosphere. We ordered or dinners. It took along while for it to come out. Mine was not mine...wrong plate. By the time they replaced it to a correct order(15 minutes or so), my spouse was half way done with his. I should have told them to forget it and just ate some of my husbands. This has happened before in other restaurants and they usually will take the charge off the bill for their mistake and your extended wait. NOT HERE. The food was just okay...nothing tasty at all. We did enjoy a bottle of wine that no one ever came back to pour... I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Sorry. There has to better in the area.

Awful fajitas! We had the steak and shrimp and the steak was so chewy it tasted like rubber and the shrimp tasted like old forgotten frozen shrimp! Anyways I’m wondering why they added some weird glaze to the fajitas? It’s very strange and if you think this is traditional Mexican cuisine then you’re nuts. Nothing here is fresh or flavorful. However, the waiter we had was very friendly and we just couldn’t eat our dinner and so he gave us a whopping 12% discount for not eating it. Yuck! Never go back.
we returned to yolandas for lunch last wk with family at the channel islands location....i had a modelo, my partner had a mojito, and our family had a margarita...the drinks were excellent..i had the veggie tosatada, and my parnter and family member had the camarones rellenos.....it was a tad spicy hot, but the sour cream helped....the food was excellent too....the staff is so friendly and quick...the chips/salsa were delicious....the patio is festive with birthday singing and many people...we love coming here...thx
Had a horrible experience due to bad service.
So beautiful, love walking around!
We came as a large group of 32 on fairly short notice and they managed to seat us all. They were great. It's not easy to serve so many.
