I just received this (cardamom) loose leaf Sri-Lankan tea but I'm shocked that the pack date was 42 months ago! It is stale, dried-out, flavorless and way past its allowable time for freshness. Since old tea contains more tannins, I suspect it has caused my upset stomach. In other words, it's garbage.
I love the Persian tea. I have been going to a restaurant all my life in Chicago now I'm in Minnesota and finally found this company that carries my favorite tea and ordered a bunch. Fast shipping. Packed well. Will be a life long customer now.
