Great spot to grab a quick bagel sandwich. Service is pretty fast and easy, too.

Aloha Sunshine is the perfect way to start the day! The fried pineapple sausage link with a fried egg in a yummy onion bagel. Next time I'd definitely add cream cheese, but even without it the sandwich was delicious. Very cute space right off the main road, my kids loved the big front room.

Stopped by this bagel shop before heading to the Monterey aquarium and I'm so glad I did! The bagel I ordered tasted so fresh and it kept me filled for the majority of the morning. I am a big fan of matcha so when I seen they had a strawberry matcha with natural strawberry jam, I had to order. So happy I did it tasted earthy and sweet just how I like my matchas. Perfect little breakfast/ lunch spot if you're making your way towards downtown Monterey or even a beach nearby.

Good bagel, but somewhat inefficient process. 20 minutes to get one bagel sandwich. Only 2 people in line. 4 staff members chatting while bagels come out and sit, toasted. No one seems sure who is prepping and who is ringing up.

I've been a customer here since they opened. I saw much promise in the earlier years, but the service I have experienced the past two times leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Yes, the bagels are good. No, I do not want to wait 20 minutes for a couple bagels w/ cream cheese and a sandwich, then receive smug treatment when the food is finally ready. With 7 people working behind the counter and a few patrons, no customer should be left feeling like a burden. There are a couple guys who have been there since the beginning who are always kind... other than that I won't be back because the service is that bad.

The man who was making food was also ringing people up, not washing his hands and not wearing gloves. The bathrooms were out of order. We left. Definitely don't recommend.

Delicious! Love this place for their breakfast bagels and burritos. Highly recommend trying this place if you're in the area. My husbands favorites (not pictured) are the Big Sur breakfast bagel, add bacon and the lumberjack on jalapeño cheddar bagel.

Ordered door dash for lunch and was very pleased. I got a sourdough bagel with fried(actually fried, not microwaved) eggs, butter and pepper jack cheese. It was very tasty. Next time I will add tomato for a bit of freshness to contrast the richness of eggs, butter and cheese. I have also enjoyed sea salt bagels with hummus and veggies. The house made hummus was mild and tasty and paired well with onions, sprouts and tomato. I will definitely order again soon.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan, yes, however, they are likely to use the same knife to cut sandwiches regardless of meat or not. Be aware if you have religious or dietary restrictions.

Great place for breakfast sandwiches. Recommended for a quick bite or something to go. A little on the pricey side.

I ordered food, the gal said she would bring it right out. I went to my table and waited, and finally asked when my bagel would come out. She responded that she called my order out awhile ago, and said that my order was in this little nook for a while. I didn't realize that is where the orders came out. I was actually sitting right there, but didn't hear her. She could have called again, or made some sort of effort for me to get my bagel. She was chatting with someone she appeared to know, and was just so nonchalant that I had been waiting for my food, and now it was cold. With each bite I needed water to wash down my cold bagel. Better customer service would be nice, just show that they care.
