This place seems to have closed down. I walked by on Saturday and there is nothing left but the paint on the walls .

Amazing friendliness in a sad tourist mall. My story is this: I found street parking, but the old meters only took quarters of dollar coins. With two fives in my hand I left my family in the car and followed the signs to change machines. The change machines only take dollar bills. Three other stores refused to break my five (worst offended was the rude candy store next door). I walked unto the restaurant, with little hope since I was an obvious non customer but they gave me a smile and saved my morning. I will eat here next time I'm in Monterey for sure.

Had a wonderful dinner right next to our hotel! They have spinning lanterns out front and my daughter adored them!

This restaurant recently closed. All the signage is gone so apparently they are gone for good or moved to another location. In any case they are not at the location near the Aquarium or Cannery Row.

Bad. Slow. Beyond the fact that the service is absolutely horrid, NONE of the employees wear masks in this restaurant which seemed off to me considering there are signs everywhere stating that people will be fined if not wearing their masks.... the tables are dirty and sticky and the woman insists they are clean. outrageously overpriced. Honey walnut prawns for $17.95 consisted of ten prawns. Won ton soup (family size) consisted of 8 wontons for $13.95. You get the idea. Lemme put it this way, our bill was $72 for a family of four and we all left hungry. We had to beg for menus and for the table to be wiped down. The employee insisted that we distribute our own plates, napkins, forks etc because she was too busy...... when it was time to pay, they took our credit card and never brought it back. We had to request it and even then it took another five minutes to get it..... this was our second time here.... and our last.

Located inside very quaint, lonely mall. Dine in available. The food is good and flavorful. No combination plates, bummer. The dishes are pricey and you have to order each dish separately, which adds up. It was close to my hotel so it was convenient.

We have given this location(one of two locations, the other is in Monterey) a number of tries in the last few years. I would say if one were to compare Panda Express in quality, the Panda would rate 5 Stars. My second to last visit was during the time there was to be no inside eating, they were offering inside eating/seating. This time two days ago, the woman serving was also not wearing her mask correctly and the food was still no better than the majority of my visits. Years ago this restaurant was much better. I am not going back until I hear that the food is better from friends. I wondered this time if the items i purchased came from frozen rather than fresh. our chicken dish tasted almost old and reheated. Also, no sauces came with our pot stickers or other items which normally come with sweet sauce or dipping sauce. Just not happy with the taste and service. The Lady is Very Friendly, but friendly is not worth skimping of a good meal.
