This is one of my favorite restaurants in Pacific Grove as well love the Monterey Carmel area! The food is always great and the service is always outstanding.
5 of us went and had great meals.. service- they are out to please. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had caesar salad, onion soup and spaghetti puttanesca- one of the best i have had on the west coast since moving here from NY 15 years ago. They will not dissapoint
Fandango is fantastic! Top shelf restaurant in PG. Food and wine were excellent. Prices are high, but you have to pay for quality, so all is good. The place to go for a special occasion. We have not been there for a while (life gets busy), but we will return soon. I highly recommend Fandango!
We were recommended by friends and it was our first time here. Outstanding service and the food - delicious!! The atmosphere was great.

To right a good review of so I'll give 1 star
We had a lovely dinner, service was excellent! It reminded me of the days when you could enjoy a wonderful meal with great service and every element of it was excellent! We will definitely be back. Don't change a thing.
We were not warned about the holiday menu - paid $155 per person pre tax and tip. Food was not good, felt like ingredients were purchased at Ralph's and served. We did not enjoy our steak, it came out cold so we let our waiter know. He took it back, it got torched, and then came out extremely well done. Very disappointing for such an expensive meal.
We hosted a table of 10 for New Yesrs Eve dinner. The managers and staff were exceptional! So helpful, gracious and understanding with changes and requests!...and happy! Beautiful ambience, delicious food and wine made for a memorable experience.
Simply the most exquisite dining experience I’ve ever had. Pricey, yes but they have no problem with you splitting the generous dishes with a friend.

We went to Fandango for dinner on Christmas Day. They had a prix fixe menu of $155 per person consisting of choices of an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. We were not so hungry and asked if we could share but that was not allowed. So, we ended up ordering 3 prix fixe meals for our party. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was good but not outstanding. Since this was the only place open on Christmas, we left satisfied to be able to have a meal for the occasion in a cozy setting.

Hard to beat the warm ambiance at this sweet little Spanish spot in Pacific Grove. Entrees are great, service is superb. It’s a tucked away treasure, where they gift you Madeira for dessert.

We had the Thanksgiving menu and loved every bite. Would love to go back and try the regular menu. The building itself was amazing. Little rooms all over the place. Our room just had 4 tables in there. Intimate dining for sure. It was a little pricey but the service, food and wine made it feel not quite as bad. We were actually amazed to find the restaurant was open on Thanksgiving Day. Kudos to all the waitstaff!
Nothing negative but had a very average experience
The desert didn’t meet the bar.
Wouldn’t recommend ; there are better places to try

Food and service was excellent. Prices are $$$$. Chairs could be more comfortable. Short rib and lamb was excellent. We've been coming here for many years. We'll be back for special occasions.
We chose this restaurant because it had a good rating and enough reviews. It presents itself as somewhat pretentious. Inside, the atmosphere and coziness look nice. The service itself is organized well.
But for this kind of pretentious presentation, the plates and silverware were not polished, with residue from dried water.
I ordered duck medium-well, they brought it medium rare. The manager clearly noticed my surprise and offered to cook it more. I think that was a bad idea. The duck tasted as if it had been reheated on the second day. On top of that, it was completely drowned in a sauce that ruined the flavor. The side dish was obviously frozen, packaged vegetables and mashed potatoes with cheese. All of this together created a horrible composition. And even separately, everything tasted bad.
My wife simply refused to say or write anything about the osso buco she ordered.
What I liked: the bread was good, the olives were good, the orange in the duck they still managed to ruin. The service was good and friendly.
What I didn’t like: unpolished silverware with hard-water marks.
Bottled beer only.
I would fire the person who created the menu. The duck was simply terrible both individually and overall.
And to the one who cooked it, I would suggest making burritos — that would probably turn out better.
Overall, good marketing, a pretty wrapper, and bad content. They spent money on marketing but didn’t have enough left for a good chef and a kitchen team.
After that, we went to the brewery next door and had an excellent pizza from a real Italian oven, with good — not bottled — beer. All at a price three times cheaper.
