We wanted to like it so much as they were friendly  and greeted their customers with kindness. Now to the food. The clam chowder was mostly a tasty white cream sauce but not a piece of clam to be found (just specks)and barely a potato chunk and nothing else. The calamari strips were tough/overcooked and tasted greasy but the sauce was good. The crab cakes bread to crab ratio was off.  So many good reviews, but not our experience. Maybe the place has changed. lately ???

Sat outside... but not a lot of shade cover. Bring sunscreen if it's nice out! Service was great! Food was very good... a little pricey for lunch specials. Had the sea bass, halibut, seafood wrap, salad w salmon. Sea bass was great! Halibut... good but didn't love the sauce.

$85 for two fishbowls and an order of garlic bread. No drinks. Food presentation was very nice. We have always thought We have always thought of the Fishwife as the “first night on the peninsula “dive” place to eat.” The ambiance hasn't changed in 30 years, just the prices.

Excellent nearby but out of the way seafood place near Pebble Beach & Spanish Bay. It appeared to have local's dining there - they know where to find good food and service. Highly recommend!

Halibut with vegetables and mashed potatoes was served cold, halibut had no flavor and spent $42 for it! Won't go back there again

Great area and amazing service. I ordered a ribeye which was unfortunately tough and not worth the price tag. The Alfredo on the other hand was out of this world. I would stay away from the Surf and Turf and go with any handmade pasta instead. Great staff and very friendly!

Favorite restaurant in the area for years. Very unique Calamari with thick calamari meat. Nice atmosphere and excellent food and service.

When I walked in I was greeted by my name the food was excellent the service was outstanding good place would definitely come back here again most friendly people.

Nice meal, fresh fish and chicken, lovely staff. Mum really liked grilled chicken with garlic lemon aioli and capers. The salmon with Cajun spices was as expected, nothing crazy but reliable! We loved the local Riesling we had tried too!
