This was my first time here and it was devine! The service was friendly and attentive. They bring you delicious focaccia bread to start. The house salad and dressing were so fresh. We both had the chicken piccata - perfectly cooked, very light dusting of flour and perfectly browned. The asparagus was trimmed at the ends and the side of pasta was delicious. We had the creme brulee for dessert and it had the sugar glass top with a very smooth custard. I can't recommend this place more highly. The owner even came around and spoke with the diners which we have experienced at other restaurants. We can't wait to come back on our next trip!

We're in PG for a month and La Mia Cucina is a short walk from our rental. We had such a pleasant experience, starting with the reception, the server Danny, the food and wine, and dessert. The servers who tended to us were polite and professional. We had the house pinot noire, a house salad, and their special spaghetti and meatballs, and sherry cake with pistachio gelato for dessert. We also loved the background music and the fact that the tables were not too close to each other which makes for a pleasant conversation. All in all quite an enjoyable experience and delicious dinner.

We came to Monterey to celebrate a birthday. While there we visited La Mia Cucina for the first time and we're very happy we found this lovely place. The staff is very welcoming and service was very attentive. Our meals were served hot and were delicious. Their wine selection is also well appointed and our server was kind enough to recommend a Pinot that paired perfectly with my meal. Dessert was amazing (we shared a piece of their Sherry cake with pistachio Spumoni) Prices were very reasonable for the level of quality provided. Their restrooms were also immaculate, which is always a positive sign :) Overall we had no complaints and will definitely be back next time we're in Monterey/Pacific Grove. I hope they continue to stay busy and successful:)

The raviolis were delicious. Special salad with shrimp, bacon, and pistachios was a treat. Gelatos were flavorful. Staff were kind and good and helped make our anniversary a special night.

We had a delightful meal! The service was impeccable, lovely decor and ambiance, and the food was perfection. We had the seasonal salad and beet salad, both were ample but not overwhelming portions, and oh so good. The crab and shrimp cakes were chock full of both, no fillers, and seasoned perfectly. They were appetizers, but were plenty for us as entrees. Highly recommend this restaurant on all counts.
