Headed here with a party of four, I was a little shocked when I saw the prices outside, but everything changed once we were seated inside. Our server, Luis (? Unsure about the spelling, sorry!), was amazing. His attitude, menu suggestions, and amazing professionalism made us feel so welcome, and we had an amazing dinner. The restaurant is extremely well designed, clean, and feels so safe to be in when you're worried about COVID that our whole night felt like another world without any of the craziness of the pandemic! The food was DELICIOUS and probably the best Italian I've had. The wine and food menu have no shortage of options, and the all the staff were so attentive and knowledgeable about specials, etc. As a vegetarian, as well as someone who worries about acceptance of LBGTQ, I've never felt so welcome, and my party felt the same. Amazing service, astounding food, and an unforgettable night! La Mia Cocina will definitely be our new go to restaurant.
The food here is terrific. The atmosphere is true Italian. The next time we are in Pacific Grove we will have a meal here!
My husband and I enjoyed our meal al fresco this evening. I can't speak highly enough of our service and the overall experience, as this is what we missed so much during the statewide shutdown. We started with the calamari appetizer, light and well-seasoned. I enjoyed the white bean soup while the hubby praised his Caesar salad. For our entrees, we enjoyed the portobello ravioli and the gnocchi. Both were SO delicious. The ravioli was light and delicious...I wish I could have had a spoon to finish the sauce! The gnocchi were airy and the sauces were excellent. I'm so glad we found this place!
Excellent vibes and super attentive service. The meals were fresh and delightful. Will absolutely recommend this spot to anyone. Affordable prices and generous meals. Great work.
We enjoy going out. Yesterday we found this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a beautiful evening there with fine dishes and a well-trained team and a great chef. We added this venue in our phone list and we shall certainly return very soon. We warmly recommend.
It does not get any betterThe little pillows from heaven they call lobster ravioli are one of the best meals I have ever had the pleasure of eating
We went to La Mia Cucina for the first time simply because it looked so inviting. The owner greeted us and made arrangements for us to sit under a heat lamp. Both waiters were so friendly, professional and attentive. The food did not disappoint, flavorful, tasting exactly as described and nicely presented. In the dark days of the pandemic, La Mia Cucina made us feel welcome and well fed. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a pleasant and safe dinner during COVID. The outdoor tables are spaced apart, and they have ample heaters. My butternut soup was light and delicious, and my sand dabs and potatoes were rich and flavorful. I didn't love the wine I ordered. I didn't have the heart to say anything, but next time I would ask for a taste before ordering a glass. At the end of dinner, the chef came out to ask how we enjoyed the food. It was clear the staff really cared. I will come here again the next time I'm in Pacific Grove.
WOW this food is good. Ordered food for pick up- order came perfectly, Arancini balls were unreal, pastas were so pillowy and fresh. The brownie dessert was SO GOOD this might be the best brownie I've had in years. Great spot.
I mean, the food was good! It just kills me to pay $86 (including tip) for take-out pasta and an appetizer. Ugh. We got the cheese ravioli, lobster ravioli, and arancini. The focasia, side salad with house dressing and raviolis were yummy! The arancini was just ok. Kind of mushy and the flavor was slightly lacking. I've had a lottttt of arancini in my life and I wouldn't order theirs again. The outdoor seating setup they have is pretty adorable. They've got music, heat lamps and nice lighting. Plus everyone I encountered that worked there was wonderful. So friendly and just, normal! This is a place I would like to come back to some day when life is back to normal and we can sit inside. Until then, we've checked this place off of our "shop small especially during Covid" list.
It is delicious! Great service, great food! Will eat there again when I am in town!
Very friendly staff. Great service. Everyone wore masks (even the customers when the server was there). Nice socially distanced tables except for the pair of two tops on the side walk. The 2 tops are subject to anyone who walks on the sidewalk and they are exposed to those getting to go orders as the window is right there. The food is simply amazing though so we went back twice during a 6 day visit at the beginning of October. Over the course of two dinners we had the Lobster ravioli, seasonal salad, house salad, Arancini ball, sausage plate, portobello mushroom ravioli and the sherry cake. Each plate was great to excellent.
Ate here 2 nights in a row! Incredible food and friendly service! Going to try and make it one more time before we head home.
We dined here as a group of 7. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Good wine list. All dishes came out hot and well presented. My favorite restaurant on this trip.
I love this restaurant! Favorite Italian restaurant in town. Great food, great staff. Highly recommend.
