Cute little cafe with pretty good coffee. The staff were friendly and got orders out quickly. However it was odd that when one of our group asked for a recommendation the staff member responded with, “I don’t know, I do not drink coffee.” The food was pretty good but it was pricy for the quality. Also, it’s a bummer this place doesn’t open until 9 am.

Seating is only good if you're directly by the windows, otherwise there is no view. Restaurant seems very pretentious for the lackluster food served and staff is hardly available when needed. Each of the plates we ordered just missed the mark of what they claimed to be. I'd skip this location if anything else is available.
The hostess started off our experience on a sour note. When we inquired out our reservation request she responded with a very snarky answer. The waiter, Jaylin, was very nice and accommodating. The food was mediocre. The view was beautiful.
We enjoyed a wonderful window table, great service and delicious food for our anniversary dinner. The wedge salad was split for us and was still lots to eat and very good. I had the lobster ravioli and it was rich and flavorful. The mahi-mahi was tasty and they even gave us a delicious chocolate dessert for our anniversary.
Always a great experience at the Beach House. My food was delicious as usual. I had the gluten free pasta and added salmon. My server Bianca was wonderful and always attentive. My favorite place to go.
Amazing view of lovers beach and the Monterey Bay coastline. The food was delicious to say the least and, the service was great. They were very helpful and attentive! A must see while in town. Walk off your meal on the coastline, walking path, very accessible, surreal views of the ocean!
Although reservation made a month ago, and outdoor or table at window was requested, seated at very small two top in far back next to kitchen and table cleaning area. Will not go back
Always a delight. We eat here often when we're in Monterey. Daily specials and menu options offer something for everyone. Cocktail and wine choice suggestions. The view makes it the best. Highly recommended. Skip Fishermans Wharf and come here.
Great food, and superb service. A special shout-out to the hostess Saturday night, the name of whom I've unfortunately forgotten, who went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. Will definitely be back.

The Mahi Mahi was overcooked and a bit dry. It came with crab risotto but I couldn't find any crab meat in it and it was too oily. My husband liked his prime rib French dip. Just an okay dinner. The bread was the best part of the meal.
When we arrived for our 7pm reservation we were advised that the kitchen would be closing early. There was a bit of a wait for our pre-dinner drinks to be served. The server apologized that the bartender was backed up. Service was friendly and professional and the food was delicious.
We had an amazing view with our dinner. The fish special was amazing and my kids loved the churros desert! I highly recommend the perfect margarita. We had such a great time that I forgot to take photos this time!
Parking convenient, ambience and staff lovely. I ordered baked oysters that were horrible- and I'm a big oyster fan. I had roasted mushroom and sautéed greens that were delicious but polenta was flavorless and dry. After locals told me that I had to try this place- I went but not sure if I'll go back.
Delicious meal. Everyone had fish, and the staff were willing to substitute different side dishes for us. Killer French 79 Martini and Old Fashioned. Will return next year when in town for our conference.
