Our server Claudio was personable, kind, knowledgeable and efficient. What an asset to your team. In addition, the bartender was polite and quite attentive. I don't remember his name. Nice young man. Dinner was great!
We showed up early for our reservation and were seated right away. Try the burger- it's really good!
Our sever Emily was friendly, attentive and well prepared. The food both Starters and main courses were excellent. Maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had.
The menu had a nice variety to select from. We enjoyed an order of fries, the Mahi Mahi, a burger and the Burrata Salad with salmon added. All of the food was delicious and the view was gorgeous. We had the perfect view to watch the full moon rise.
The food was well prepared and tasty. My dining partner had mushroom curry, which was a bit spicier than she expected. I wish the wait staff had told us that it was spicy. No indication on the menu. Also, we asked for no nuts on the salad (allergy), but the salad came with nuts and we had to pick them off. The wait staff apologized, but the restaurant wasn't too busy so not sure why the kitchen couldn't comply with our request. We also observed that locals were treated more favorably than first timers.
Fabulous restaurant. No wonder this place is so popular. We sat on the covered porch with glass windows over looking the water. It was chilly but the heaters felt so nice. Food was sooo good. Local sand dab, filet, stroganoff, cheeseburger and prime rib dip. All amazing, no complaints. They even brought out a slice of cheesecake with a candle for my husband's birthday. Highly recommend.
The atmosphere and general vibes of the restaurant are lovely. I recommend it for a drink and an appetizer to enjoy the view, the kind staff, and the cozy energy. The food is ok, at times pretty good, but some things we ordered left a bit to be desired. I think the risotto needs some editing. I'd still recommend checking this place out.
We had a great dinner, our waitress was spectacular and so sweet. we came out to Monterey to celebrate getting married ! Wooo
Great location! Varied menu and excellent service. Dined there twice and both servers were most helpful. Good food and drinks.
I have eaten here numerous times before and it is always a great place to eat dinner in Monterey. The setting is great because it is located at Lover's Point in Pacific Grove and diners have a great view the ocean while eating dinner. It is a great place to take out of town guests for good food and to get a greater Monterey area experience. This is also a great place for a romantic dinner. If you want to really impress a woman on the first date this is one of the go to places. After dinner you can take your date on a romantic walk around Lover's Point. Before a romantic dinner use the Sunset app on your smart phone to determine when the sunset is and plan accordingly.

Celebrated a wedding anniversary here at a beautiful window seat. My husband got a pasta dish and I got the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly. We split a side of mashed potatoes that were honestly the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I had a nice cocktail which was very reasonable priced.
We had a wonderful experience at Beach House. The staff was so nice and friendly, and their menu recommendations were spot on. Out meals were outstanding. The drinks were excellent. The only bummer was that we went for dinner and missed out on what is, I'm certain, an amazing view. That's on us...but we won't make that mistake next time. We had a fantastic dinner and look forward to returning!
We arrived at this restaurant with wonderful expectations. I ended up ordering the French dip sandwich, which was horrible to say the least. The meat was extremely tough and overcooked. The aujuice was horribly horribly salty, and something that the chef would've ordered from Cisco as it was clearly not homemade.. The fish that Dan ordered was out of stock and not even available !! Shame on this Restaurant for serving a sandwich as they did
We used to love having dinner here. We have many fond memories of perfect dinners here. We haven't been here for about a year...it has changed dramatically!! The service was lacking, the food is pre packaged and heated ( no changes in food prep) and that ruined the ambiance. Definitely not worth the money we spent for dinner!! Not going back!!
This was our first visit to the Beach House, despite being annual visitors to the area for many years. What a great experience! Starting with a (remarkably reasonably priced) Nolet's gin martini, followed by a shared plate of fried calamari and then sand dabs almondine entrees for both of us, plus mini churros for dessert, the meal was delicious from start to finish. The view of Monterey Bay was lovely after dark, and would be equally inspiring during lighter times of the day or year. We'd also like to thank our server, Rachel, who brought plenty of good cheer, as well as a memorable dinner, to our table.
