Great dog. But super rude staff supposedly the manager ruined the meal. We asked to have a different dog because my sister didn't like the chili. She got laughed at, and then told she could buy a replacement. We had just bought meals for 8 people. And we're gonna buy 8 ice creams. We won't returned and will tell others from the area not to come. The staff member should be fired. My sister left in tears, shameful.

Super fun, classy hotdog and shake joint, in a surf/skate shack styling w/ a really nice patio area. Great food; the "tangy slaw" was a masterful, coarse chopped, mixture of red and green cabbage. The house chili was very good...if I recall it was the "Reefs" dog. The shakes we tried were great; quite impressed with the blackberry and also by the sheer number of offerings. The place just has good vibes; very friendly staff and (regular) customers alike. ...I must have been too tired to notice Kimchi on the menu before ordering and was a little heartbroken (until next time) hearing that it can be added to any menu item.

The gate is skateboards. It was so cool. I'm not a skater, but I like the vibe. It was young and fun and different. So fitting for Montereys active lifestyle. The menu was different and menu but good options. It's not normal restaurant style. I ordered tots plan with cheese sauce. Apparently, you can add whatever toppings you want to the tots, but I wasn't registering that. Haha. the Mac n cheese looked soooo good. I wish I had asked more questions and took my time cause the last was nice to answer everything and give extra information. I also ordered a 1020 milkshake. Which is Carmel sauce, chocolate, and oreo. It was delicious but could have been a teeny bit thicker. Great place, and I will visit again.

The kiddo and I went here for lunch today. The hot dogs were good and the tots were really good! We even went back later for ice cream later on that night, also good! The folks working there were super friendly and the vibe of the place is really fun. With the all skateboard and surfing stuff along with the music playing it felt like we were in a Tony Hawke ProSkater video game.

Lucy's never disappoints! Whenever we're in town we come, whether it's for lunch, dinner, ice cream and coffee or breakfast. Definitely try their Brussels sprouts. All the hot dogs we've tried have been great. Today we tried the breakfast burritos and espresso drinks and they were delicious. The service is always friendly, the vibe is fun and chill and the food is always delicious with generous portions and the prices are great. It's family friendly with a great patio!

While staying at a nearby hotel, I decided to stop by this restaurant for some Glizzy action! I checked out their website, and there were a couple of options for a hot dog and fries combo. I get to order and asked for the hot dog and fries combo and the waitress said there were none. I didn't argue the point. The restaurant gave off 60's-70's coastal diner vibes. Cost: $20 for a hotdog and fries. I got a water. Inflation I tell ya.

I love this place. Customer service is on the top of my list of important things to find at a restaurant. You get service with a smile, you get great food, and you get camaraderie of patrons everything I want plus great coffee and when you're in the mood for a milkshake, they have that too.

I love this place. I happened to be staying across the way and was told by a friend to check it out. Having grown up down here during some prime skateboarding/punk rock years (late nineties), this place exemplifies the lifestyle and the vibe. I would stop by for espresso in the am and a yummy breakfast bowl. Really cool digs, great outdoor area and super friendly service. Your kids will love it and so will you.
