The server goes above and beyond for his customers and makes sure they have anything they need even before you even need it which is awesome the vibe is nice very clean and the food is amazing and affordable! Would recommend to try it out:)

Ordered a takeout. What a mistake! steak had zero flavor.....probably been in the freezer too long. Tasteless! The BLT was pretty much the same. I have had better at home for lunch. This place for a takeout was a waste of time and money!!

My family visited the area and went for dinner at this place. The food was delicious and the service was amazing as well. We got fish tacos and quesadillas and it was amazing. Would recommend for sure.

I have not been to this place in at least a couple of years because I don't live in the area. But I remember the food was amazing. I ordered the fish tacos and they were the best I ever had. Great taste. Everything fresh. Well I came back to this area and went back here. I don't know if they were having an off day, but the food was not good. For $52 for two people with appetizer and water, I was very disappointed. The food was bland. They did not have any hot sauce or salsa other than store bought Tapitio and a bland pico de gallo. The guacamole was brownish and seem to be sitting out for a while. The fish tacos were well cooked yet flavorless fish. Possibly tilapia. The rice was flavorless. And the beans, which were supposed to, I think, be refried beans, were awful ... flavorless, very lumpy. ot creamy. I don't think they made them with lard or other shortening, which is typical of well made refried beans (I know my Mexican food well and I cook it at home). I tried dousing my food with Tapatio sauce but no matter what, I could not get any flavor. Oh, and the nacho cheese sauce ... it tasted and looked like it was store bought, like an imitation cheap Cheese Whiz. I don't understand all these positive reviews. What happened when I went? Anyway we did not finish all our food and left. And my stomach is a little upset, probably from all the Tapotio sauce. And for the first time in my life, I did not tip. People, like me, come to Monterey to celebrate, to have a great time. We don't get much opportunity to do this. So we this happens, it is a real disappointment. The food could have been made much better and be on par with all the other Mexicans places to eat. I will not return.

I went to have dinner at Mandos with my son. I had Barbacoa and my son had steak fajitas. Food was top notch. The new owner came to speak to us. He was so nice to talk to. Staffs were very friendly. The place looked clean and appealing.
The food is ok. The chicken does not have a good flavor, it tastes a lot like vinegar, the horchata is not good, a lot of ice in drinks and not enough drink.

The food and services there was so bad I went whit my family and we were excited to eat until we entered they looked at us with disgust and I got a sandwich sandwich I had to pay extra for avocado that came bad I was upset when we received our food we did not hear the grill we were upset when our food came ( DRY,NASTY ?? I don’t recommend the food here it was a 1 out of 10
