Best mocha I've ever had. Hands down. I've been here back in 2005 when I was in town for a conference. I've never had a better Mocha. You guys had such a cool atmosphere, I absolutely love it. Chive on!

Unappreciative attitude from the woman working behind the counter the two times I went there today. It was the same woman both times. Businesses need to signal to customers their patronage is appreciated. She was short tempered with me. Never said thank you for my purchases. No greeting. And it wasn't as if it was busy. The first time, nobody was in front of me or waiting for food or drink. The second time, one woman was in front of me waiting for her drink. The owner needs to have an in-service training to teach employees to treat customers well, as if the business depends on customers to make a profit.

Great place for a coffee or hot chocolate. I like their mushroom and spinach quiche. I often go on Fridays open mic nights. The place seems to also start having a band on Sunday late afternoons. It's great to have a place like this in our local community to relax in very comfortable sofas and meet local people.

The ambiance was very pleasant and welcoming. Provided with many options of seating including tables and well cushioned couches. In addition they also provided excellent customer service. Nothing but smiles and common courtesies. As for the food and drinks themselves, they are very delicious! I personally enjoyed their breakfast burritos. I can't remember the drink but what I got for the drink but I do remember it was like a cold brew. Very tasty. Overall I'd say this place hit all the marks for me. Not to mention they also host an open mic night on Fridays I believe? I haven't been but I've heard great things. I definitely look forward to popping in one of these nights.

J&J has been here since my childhood, and I will say that it’s even better & feels even more welcoming and authentic under the new ownership of Mr. Scott! Delicious breakfast burrito filled with veggies & eggs (from the nearby Mando’s restaurant) plus he made sure we got the local’s fav hot sauce (Pepper Plant) to go with. So glad we re-discovered this gem, will be back again soon!

Good place for a latte and plenty of seating for chillin on the couch. Service is quick and attentive. Music is a bit loud for my taste but at least it's good music.

One of my favorite cafes in PG to study at with ample seating, plugs at the tables against the wall, a comfy couch for reading. Service is quick and efficient.

My wife and I were in Pacific Grove and were in need of Coffee. We found this place and were glad we tried it. The ambiance is great with many places to comfortably sit and enjoy your coffee. They have tables and chairs and also soft, plushy couches. The service is great, with friendly people. The default vessel for your drink is a paper cup. However, if you request it, they will serve it in a proper ceramic cup so that you can sit for a while and enjoy your drink. The execution by the barista was great; the coffees were perfectly done. I had a cappuccino (double size $4.60) and my wife had a white mocha late (16 oz $5.10) with a slice of lemon cake ($2.95). Everything tasted great.

I come here every time i visit PG to get their mocha chai lattes. Smells delicious. Tastes so good! Warms the soul. The setting is warm and cozy. Love the couches. The staff is super friendly. They always have a welcoming smile and friendly vibes.

this cafe is so warm and inviting. nice comfy couches, big warm fireplace. we went on a. Friday night when they have their open mic night starting at 7. felt very welcomed sitting listening to people sing and play original pieces and covers, reading poetry. the owner is a super kind guy. staff is kind and helpful. some of them participated in open mic as well. tried the bacon and brie panini with cinnamon raisin bread. personally a wasn't for me but my boyfriend loved it. n i got the chocolate croissant. would definitely recommend this cute spot to locals or visitors. you could have a nice coffee inside by the fire or in the nicely lit outdoor seating/bench area. and still hear the open mic performers. everyone is more than welcomed to perform. it's free. you just write your name on the chalkboard and they'll call you up when it's your turn. everyone is extremely supportive toward all performers. hopefully if you get to go you get to hear Jonathan or manny. they were my personal favorites among the talents

They're a juice place that doesn't have juice. They don't have a website. Finding anything out about this place is pretty much Yelp only. It takes like an hour to throw up a restaurant website these days on Square Space or similar. Marketing 101. Overhead the owner and some "consultant" making plans to make it like a Quaker meeting room... because, yeah, total silence would improve this place. And the owner said he'd talk to the head of social media. It was hard not to cry with laughter listening to these two. Come on... I like drugs too - but wtf are you people smoking? I totally expected to meet Kitchen Nightmare's Gordon Ramsey here. FWIW I've done a decade in this industry... if you're this lost just close. But - at the minimum - hire someone who has done this before - because whoever is running this place is beyond clueless and hiring wack jobs to help him.
