The other patisseries are all downhill from here.
This bakery has everything one wants to get. From a large sitting area, European decor, a hilltop kinda view, quiet and quaint spot with delicious pastries.

My wife and I had the special of the day, and I ordered a Napoleon pastry, I loved it! Wow delicious!
We had both dine in and take out.
Vegetarian options: From what we saw, experienced, and tasted, it's definitely worth looking at their menu online.
Dietary restrictions: While I don't have dietary restrictions, my wife was able to order a cappuccino with I believe almond milk. It appeared as though they had many options.
Parking: Ample parking, easy walk into the facility.
Kid-friendliness: Nice clean, safe, open, bright environment.
Wheelchair accessibility: We used parking for those with disabilities, very close to the door, super easy wide entry way that seems easily wheelchair or powerchair accessible.

The staff was super friendly and helped with recommendations. The pastries are amazing. One of the best French bakeries I have ever been to.

Rude staff! The young waiters stop greeting you and ignore you when you dared asking when a tart was made on your last visit! Well, the food doesn't look fresh at times. The salad leaves are always wiltered. I won't be coming back for sure! And it's very average anyways! VERY average! They should learn proper service in France!

We were there on Thursday 8/29, lunch was not good. We’ve been coming here for 30 yrs, and something has changed! They brought my quiche out at the same time as our soup, both were luke warm. I had the waiter take the quiche back to heat, but was still not hot. Nothing tasted good, my husband’s onion soup was not the same as it’s been in the past. The pastries are still great, but will not be eating there again!!

Cappuccino was a joke, really. Croissant was cold and slightly past its prime, but even if it wasn't, it wouldn't be much better. Tables were all dirty, and the floor in the seating area probably never swept properly. Location, view, and atmosphere are nice.

We are visiting Monterey and a local suggested Patisserie Beecher. Great suggestion! One of the best quiches I’ve ever had. Took home a few pastries too, all were delicious. Will be back soon.

Don’t come here if you want takeout in less than 10 minutes. Staff seems challenged doing 2 things at once
