I just had a very nice visit at this Starbucks! I so badly wish I had got at least one name from the ladies working. My usual trip to any Starbucks consists of a quick in and out process which has never been bad. However, this location really stood out to me. Every staff member interacted with me is such a positive and fun way. I tried the new Oleato which I had no knowledge about. The woman at the register was very helpful in explaining while another woman behind the counter gave a great comparison to the drink I usually get. When I picked up my drink from the counter, the woman who had made it was extremely kind as well. They were all interested in what I thought of the new beverage. It was delicious ! I left there with all 3 wishing me well and a big smile on my face. Not to mention a refreshed outlook on humanity. Thank you, kindly, ladies!

We were the only ones waiting for an order. We spent 20 minutes in the store for one coffee and one water. 10 minutes was spent waiting for an employee to order and she had her drink made instantly. Once they finally called my coffee, they told me the water would be right out as they began another order. Ridiculous wait time for an empty store.

Typical Starbucks. Nothing out of the ordinary. I will say that orders do take a little longer here than most. Especially if you go before the local school starts or let's out. Also, there is no drive through so keep that in mind if that's your plan.

I came over here to work because I have been standing in the parking lot working by the bagel shop shop around the corner, and it was just getting busy, making it difficult to work. (FYI) for a bagel shop at 2:26 PM (PST), it gets really busy. (Really odd)So I came to Starbucks!!! But within a min after parking, this BMW pulls and parks next to me??? I'm not sure what's going on in Monterey, but this is bizzare.Update: at 3:36 PM (PST). Two more vehicles park directly next to me. The van has a (disability hand sign) and the white van with its brights on. Both vans are emitting that strange chemical/perfume scent ... I had to move to another spot in the parking lot.This was followed by a man on a motorcycle (wearing the green pants) yelling on the phone, asserting he was in a morercycle accident and appeared to be (fake limping).

Love this location when visiting Pacific Grove and Monterey area. It's great getting away from the main tourist area, be much calmer and can sit to enjoy the coffee. Great because of you need anything else, the Grocery store is right there as well. Convenient, and with worth the 5 minute drive.

I came here today for a Pike's Place because I needed a little boost and my experience was great. No line. The coffee was hot. The barrista that helped me was super informative and gave me so.e helpful tips for our aquarium trip planned for later today. Very helpful.
Don't go here during rush hours. It took 20+ minutes to get my black coffee from a mobile order. If I ordered a complicated drink, I'd have more empathy, but there's no way black coffee should take 20+ minutes. There's no way my food should be done before black coffee.

This is a super cute location and a big space compared to most Starbucks locations. Mobile ordered at 10:50am and didn't walk out until 11:25am... this has to be one of the slowest locations ever and not to mention you had employees that looked to be off coming in to make their own drinks and talking to the baristas and slowing things down even more! I know this is just Starbucks and there are other locations and other coffee shops, but this is super easy, but i guess lesson learned. The drink wasn't made right, but didn't want to wait another 30 min for a replacement. Disappointing Starbucks... i know that you can do better.

I've worked in food service so I understand how busy things can get but this was silly. The girl with braces handling the food prep was in her own world while every other barista was working really hard during the rush. They had to remind her about the bagel a few times after we were waiting with 6 finished drinks. Then she finally comes over and I politely remind her we wanted cream cheese. She says okay and slowly walks back over toward the toaster and stands there and does nothing. I had to ask another barista who has situational awareness who grabbed it for me in 10 seconds. Get that girl with braces out of there - makes everyone else who is hard working and nice look bad. Everyone else was super nice and helpful.

Fast mobile orders. Probably one of the biggest Starbucks I've ever been too. Super clean and lots of space if you want to come hang out or need a quiet place to get some work done.Parking: Huge parking lot. Adjacent to a shopping plaza with a Luckys, Subway, smoke shop and a few other stores.
