Bagels are really good, but three times under the new hires (not the people who used to work there, who made it a personable place) has my order been wrong, and honestly usually I don’t care. I’ll still eat it, unless it’s just plain cream cheese. Service isn’t great aside from that. Never ask is there anything else you’d like or something along those lines.

Close to tesla superchargers. Grabbed a california dream and carrot/apple juice to go. Went next door to a sunny spot near a tree and enjoyed in the grass.

Sunday 12/15/24 10:40 am. Sign says they are open Sundays 7am to 3pm. They are closed. Open sign is on, lights are on. Door is locked and nobody around. Waist of time. Another customer just pulled and and is leaving in disappointment. Don’t waist your time.

Decent bagels, but the service is abysmal.
I've never been greeted, asked what I want, or been thanked when I leave.
This is clearly trickle down from management and or owners.
I only go here because it's the closest and convenient, but I'll be searching for other bagel shops in the future.
If the owners actually read this and care, it's a pretty simple recipe.
Greet customers when they enter, ask them what they'd like, and thank them when they pay.
If you have a good product, you're golden.

My favorite place to go. I literally fly to Monterey just for these bagels. Mmmmm. I have been having them since I was in High School. I get a turkey avocado sandwich with sprouts on a everything bagel.

For years and years my family and I always chose a bagel and morning ride around the beach for a perfect morning. Our tradition! I miss it so much all the way from Texas, my new home now.
We ordered a lox omelette bagel, plain bagel with butter, and a seed bagel with cream cheese/lettuce/tomato, as well as two large iced coffees, can of juice, and total came to 60 dollars!!! I felt too polite to say anything, but what really nearly made me lose it was cost of a bottle of water, which I was 4.75!!! I really regret not saying anything because that is a total rip-off, and if the prices were presented more conspicuously, I certainly would not have ate there.

My family and I had the BEST bagels here, my sister had gone for an early breakfast and said it was so amazing we all went back with her for lunch! My Lox Omelet on a sesame bagel hit the spot, and my sister’s everything bagel with lox schmear was just as delicious. The workers are incredibly sweet and we loved the vietnamese coffee.
It made us super disheartened to see someone who had eaten their bagels ask for a refund and try to nickel and dime the workers while being incredibly passive aggressive to them, watching the workers be incredibly compassionate to the nastiest Karen possible was amazing yet sad to witness. They were so polite to her despite her unpleasant demeanor and chuckled with us when she left.
We now love The Bagel Bakery and hope that everyone who thinks about trying it does!

I have been buying bagel dogs there for years. I never thought to give them any public attention. They have awesome bagel dogs. They are polite and friendly.
Only negative thing .. is a believe they are a bit overpriced... Sure love the vegetarian bagel however... My favorite!!!!

This place had some of the best bagels I've had in CA. I did wish they had hot coffee options. However, the iced coffee I had was delicious.
