Live jazz on Friday evenings made the dinning exceptional! Great atmosphere and food.

Excellent dinner! We started with mussels and calamari and were delighted with both. I ordered the arugula salad and my husband ordered the sea bass, both were very flavorful and prepared with perfection. They also had a quartet playing jazz, what a treat!

Wild Fish has beautiful outdoor seating in the heart of Pacific Grove. Our server was helpful with our complicated order that included several different menu items for dine in as well as take out. The fish and chips were delectable as were the oysters and I was especially impressed by the presentation of the food. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Absolutely amazing. Fantastic food, great service and and added bonus of live music. The older gentleman on the keyboards killed it!

I stumbled on the restaurant and I am so happy I did. The service was great, the food was amazing, and part way through the meal a jazz band started playing. Two owners checked on our meal. Amazon service, food, and restaurant atmosphere. This was the best meal on my entire weekend stay. P.S. The dessert was absolutely divine.

Could be the top meal we ate on our trip to carmel over a recent weekend. All dishes were perfectly prepared. The fish and chips were really a knockout. Super fresh and pletntiful cod. Fantastic batter. house made tartar sauce that was a knock out ( and I am not usually a tartar sauce kind of guy). And the chips. Holy potato gods. These were amaze balls! Super crunchy/crisp like I've never had on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. Served with a housemade ketchup which was more of a lighter thinner sweeter tomato/dressing. But boy did it work! Came to find out that the fries are rolled in cornstarch then fried. That gives them this amazing crisp. Secret revealed! The starter strawberry salad was superb with unique and perfect "pairings' of ingredients with a great dressing. The fresh oysters met with the approval of the oyster hounds in our party which is hard to do. so points there too. This place changes up the menu a lot based on what's fresh, but seems it's all good. So highly recommend this little spot as all the items we had were winners.

Came in for my birthday this evening and had a wonderful experience. I made a reservation on a Friday and luckily they were able to accommodate us. There was a live jazz band (they do all through spring and summer apparently) which was phenomenal. We got the oysters and calamari to start. I loved both, my husband felt calamari was a bit under seasoned. I got the ahi and was thrilled and while my husband wanted to order the halibut they were out. Instead he got the whole fish which was a rock cod, again a bit under seasoned but the crispy potatoes with aioli were awesome. Love that this place is run by a husband and wife team. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable and I throughly enjoyed myself. We'll be back again!

We stumbled on this restaurant after hanging on the beach off 17 mile drive. We rolled in all sandy , not fancy and all of us are heavily tattooed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted really nicely , by a gentleman and sat right away inside . The vibe was really chill and it was awesome no one else was really around our table. I think our server was Ortiz (mr ? IDK I got that off our receipt ) We ordered 12 oysters, twice ! Champagne, wine, calamari, and the fish chowder for starters ... I gotta say it was the best calamari I have ever had in my life . My fiancée ordered the whole rock cod, and our friend visiting from out of town got the Ricotta salad, and I ordered the arugula salad with a side of fish :) . We were so happy with our service, our food, the quality of products, that we are happy that the other fancy seafood place didn't have a table for us . It was one of the most laid back amazing times I have had . Thank you so much Wild fish - you have stolen our stomachs ans our hearts . We will be back!

The meal was super fresh and the service was fantastic! My only complaint is that the ketchup, tuna and glaze were a bit flavorless. The presentation was beautiful but it fell flat with taste. The people with me got the halibut and seemed to really like that though. Overall I’d recommend. Also, the fish and chips that everyone raves about is only available at lunch.

This was the best meal I have had in years. The sourdough toast is The Best bread I have EVER had.... and, I am a bread guy. If you are close by.... You have to go. My waiter, Gabriel I think. Was Awesome!

I'm onboard with Jan Jeffries review. We also were turned away from outside dining because we had our two little pups with us. Walked two doors down, outside on street, same as Wild Fish, Antonio's, we were welcomed with open arms. Unusual for ratings to be this high with this treatment and others having a dog there, as Jan stated in her review.

We were disappointed. The whole fish was advertised as rock cod. It was not. I couldn't identify to fish but definitely not a rock fish. It was shaped more like a mackerel. The service was a bit pushy and inattentive at other times. Not worth the price. That said, our appetizer was delicious but small.

The server was knowledgeable and made an excellent recommendation for me. Wine menu was a manageable size and had selections that were not the same generic white wines you might see elsewhere. I was pleasantly suprized by my wine's combo of almost savory and fruity flavors. Our fish was nicely cooked and the sides were delicious. Dessert was a nice portion to finish off the light fish fare.

Don't sleep on this place. Food and service were superb. They have outdoor seating as well and located not too far from the ocean. The smoked chowder was full of fish and not a bunch of fillers like some other places. We shared a whole roasted fish (Monterey cod) and also the special of the day, petrale sole. The mains and sides were all cooked perfectly. They have a smaller menu which is better for making decisions. Would come again!
