We were on a whale sighting trip to Pacifica and we headed over to this place for lunch it’s super close to the Pacifica municipal pier.
The place is cozy like just 4 tables and a small kitchen.
The menu is pretty impressive however what stood out was accommodating our request for a no meat or pescatarian dish. The staff was kind enough to understand that we don’t eat meat and whipped up some delicious pasta that was also a bit like a warm soup on cloudy...

Awesome spot for a nice yet casual dinner. You pay for the food and the hospitality as I believe you should with any quality restaurant. The pasta, wine and people are on-point. Perfect addition to Pacifica.

The food and service are excellent.
They serve gnocchi 3 ways. We opted for the creamy pesto sauce. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the sauce was out of this world.
We also had the chicken parmesan. This is a dish I cook at home and it's a big hit with the family, but I have to say that Buona Italia's sauce was so good, I wish I could replicate...
