Underwhelming and overpriced fish and chips; not made/battered in house like years ago. Stuff comes straight from the Sysco freezer according to one employee… Not bad if you’re in a pinch for fried fish but there’s definitely better spots in the city.

Camelot is the type of bar where you order at the counter and they will bring the food to you. We had the fish & chips $20, fish, shrimp, oysters and scallops (the Camelot) $30, fried mushrooms $8 and beers. The restaurant was full at 6:30pm on a Tuesday. The fish and chips were good. It came out piping hot with decent sized fries. Along with ketchup, malt vinegar, tarter sauce, they even have that tangy brown HP sauce at my table. The restaurant felt British, although the bar staff didn't have an English accent.

As a Brit, I’m always on the lookout for proper fish and chips in the U.S. and this place is hands-down my favorite. Crispy battered fish, thick fluffy chips, and that authentic taste that’s hard to beat. I used to work here, and I still come back as a customer, which says a lot. The family behind it is amazing—kind, hardworking, and clearly doing something right to still be going strong after 56 years. A true local gem!
