What happened to this deli? Change of owners? Been going there for years and now twice I've had a disappointing sandwich and the potato salad was also not good. Sandwiches made wrong and salad did not taste good! So disappointed! And they barely have any Italian products to buy anymore. Will be going elsewhere.

The sandwiches are yummy. It’s just a pick up your food and go kind of place. The sandwiches do take a while to come out. Overall it’s a solid place to grab a massive sandwich.Vegetarian options: There is no protein option for vegetarians or vegans. They have one vegetable sandwich or you can build your own. The sandwich is delicious.

This business is not paying its employees. It took two months for my son to get paid and only after threatening to sit outside their business and advise customers how they treat employees. He is still short payment and did not receive a paystub. We have filed a complaint with the labor commission. It's no wonder the quality of food had gone downhill.

This place has gone downhill. This is our egg salad sandwich- it was supposed to have "everything" on it. It came with egg salad, cheese and bread. No mayo, no mustard, no lettuce, no tomato or anything. How did anyone working think this was okay for a sandwich? Unfortunately, we didn't notice until we came home so we had to add everything ourselves. Super disappointing.

long time customer the quality has gone down... what a shame once it was family-run with pride in the quality

Bread is decent and I frequent this place often as I live close by. I talk with the employees and list to them when I'm in there. Rumor has it, they are not paying their employees for their work. This is not okay and because of it I'm considering notifying some government agencies. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES!

I got 2 sandwiches called the Godmother and the Meatball Sub. The bread on both was very hard and dry (might be due to being overly toasted and/or the bread itself is not fresh). The ingredients on the inside were all really tasteful, but it was harder to enjoy because of the bread. I prefer Lou's Cafe, Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop, and Ike's. I've never had a problem with quality there before. It could've just been a fluke, but I always prefer my sandwiches toasted so I might think twice before coming back to Columbo's. I really like Columbo's meatballs though, much more than the meatballs at Mr. Pickles so it is a shame. Looking at the other reviews, the bread seems to be a recurring issue from years ago so each meal could either be a hit or miss.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Colombo's! I make up excuses to drive over the hill into Pacifica just so I can stop at Colombo's!!! Sandwiches just don't get better than this. My personal favs are the roast beef bomb and the adult grilled cheese. I also like to grab a few frozen piroshkies from their market area.

I'm a life long Pacifican and while I love Colombo's, even I am frequenting them less and less these days. I typically order the house turkey or oven roasted turkey and to this date have gotten at least 4 different types- there's no consistency. Additionally no matter what time I order, for example I ordered at 11 am today and it was still 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches, it even looked like a ghost town when I went to get my food too! Not just lack of customers but shelf items as well. They also have gotten my very plain turkey and cheese sandwich wrong no matter how I order it, online or phone. Today was a phone order and the two sandwiches had their bread choices switched. I don't even feel confident catering business meetings because lack of consistency. To add insult to injury $15/sammie is getting a little steep. I love deli sandwich as much as the next person but just to compare, I went to Molinari's last week and paid the same, actually a little less for the perfect sandwich with twice as much meat. Sorry Colombo's, but readjust your focus-you're slowly losing us.

The bread makes the sandwich and the homemade bread here is delicious!! I got the sourdough and it's crispy on the outside (without hurting the roof of you mouth) while soft and fluffy on the inside. It also did not get soggy at all and held the ingredients really well. We ordered a toasted pastrami sandwich with provolone, lettuce, jalapenos, onions, pepperoncini, mayo, garlic sauce, and mustard. I loved how they use a fattier cut of pastrami here, it was juicy and wasn't dry at all. The sandwich came out to $20 after tax and tip, definitely pretty pricey for a sandwich. It was also on the smaller side compared to other deli spots. It's busy here but they're pretty fast and efficient. There was ~5 parties in line ahead of me and I was in & out in 15 minutes. There's 2 tables inside if you want to enjoy your sandwich in the deli!

hands down the best deli sandwiches in the peninsula!! the pastrami is superior! homemade bread second to none. roasted turkey is actually from a real bird (I don't even like turkey sandwiches bc the meat is always pressed turkey bits, but not here)...

Huge sandwiches! I think I got a turkey and cheese sandwich with a dutch crunch bread. The bread was really tough and rough on my palate but had a sweet taste to it. My food was packed very well and tasted great with a side of chips. Perfect to take out to the beach for a picnic :)

I was a regular customer all through high school + and the sandwiches were flippin delicious. we'd wait in line for an hour. was surprised there wasn't a line today when I brought my husband and kid by for a sandwich today .... it wasn't the same. the Lt. Colombo used to be a symphony of flavor and texture and this sandwich was dry and bland. perhaps this was an off day, but for $17, I was seriously unimpressed. not sure I'll be back :(

This used to be a fantastic deli in the 90's. It had tasty homemade delights and happy helpful staff. No longer ?$15 sandwich - I see the bread but where are the ingredients ⁉️There was ONE customer when I arrived & it took them 10-15 mins to make this skimpy sandwich. Which I threw away after seeing the Lack of substanceI'm never going back ?
