Owner’s name is Roshon, lies about prices if he doesn’t remember you. Still selling vapes from behind the counter but pretends to have limited selection kept in a box behind the register as if that’s the last of his inventory. He’s operated like this since January. Sleazy business, never going back, you shouldn’t go either.

Still one of the best literal hidden gems for a huge well made sandwich in the Daly City/SSF/Pacifica area. Roshan crafts every sandwich with the utmost care, offers you free samples of his garlic and chipotle sauces, and asks you to check his work before your sandwich is wrapped. Pro tip/side note: if you love Haribo gummies, this is your place for the real stuff from Germany :) Keep up the great work, Roshan. Miss Tomato continues to rock. Be sure to come early before the sandwiches sell out! PS, Max the pup is so nice <3 give him a pet before you leave.

Sandwiches can all start to taste the same (especially for vegetarians), so after my truly delicious sandwich yesterday I had to write a review! Super fresh - from the bread to the amazing pesto sauce. The gentleman running the shop was also so kind, helpful, and welcoming. Five stars!

Sandwiches looked great and tasted great! Definitely worth checking this place out.

BEST SANDWICH IN 5 MILE RADIUS. Tucked away in the convenience store, the sauces are phenomenal and the owner is a kind and expert sandwich craftsman. Highly recommend stopping by for a quick and wonderful meal.PS the dog out front, Max, is the kindest, gentlest being on earth, and loves kids. Don’t be fooled by his looks lol

Most under-rated Sandwich in Pacifica!Awesome little sandwich kiosk tucked inside a liquor store - totally worth the trek up the hill! I got the Monica's special (Turkey & cranberry) on Dutch crunch.Lots of value, around $12 for the sandwich - huge and can easily feed 2. Get the Monica's Special if you like the combo of Turkey and cranberry (reminds me of thanksgiving), a very tasty and filling meal. The owner is awesome and likes to chat up with the customers. Great gem in Pacifica, go here now! Support Awesome local businesses

Please don't stop to here so I can have more Sammich for me. Kidding obviously. This place is worthy of the "best sammich" in the area result.

Got the Italiano with everything except hot peppers. So good. Not what you'd expect looking at the shop. Will be back!

This is the best sandwich shop/ convenience store I've ever been to. I lived down the street for them for the last year and miss tomato was the highlight of living there. Rochan (the owner) makes incredible sandwiches and gets to know all of his regulars. Literally when I told him I was moving he asked me if I needed any boxes or help moving. His associate John who works nights is a homie and always takes the time to get to know people as well. I cannot recommend this place enough and will miss living down the street, they always made me feel like family. Thanks to both Rochan and John, you guys are the best. Go to Miss tomato!!!

Probably the best sandwich I've ever had! This place is awesome the family who runs the place is so respectful and they work so hard! I've tried about 7 of the sandwiches on the menu and they're all great! It's hard to decide which is my favorite but the spicy mama is probably my favorite! These sandwiches are made with care and that's probably why they're so good!

I have to admit that I have driven past this liquor store on Skyline Blvd at least a thousand times and have never realized there was a sandwich shop hidden inside this entire time. I honestly wouldn't have found this place without Yelp. I parked in this store's designated parking spot and walked in to order the Flying Dutchman with dutch crunch bread and their garlic sauce. Once you strike up a conversation with the owner, he is very friendly and personable. He talked about his family owned store and also his passion and love for making deli sandwiches which you can easily tell when you are getting your sandwich made. I got the sense that a lot of customers like the owner just based on their interactions with him as soon as I stepped inside. Once my sandwich was completed, the owner showed it to me to make sure it was to my liking. As I followed the owner to the cash register with my sandwich to pay, he then told me he really hopes that I like the sandwich. I definitely liked the sandwich without a doubt. The Flying Dutchman that I ordered was one of the best deli sandwiches that I've had in a long time. It was warm and the melted cheese along with the meat and fresh vegetables were amazing. To top it off the sauces are as good as everyone says they are. I enjoyed the garlic pesto sauce that I chose for the sandwich. The total for me was around $13. I always like trying out and supporting small humble businesses. Miss Tomato Sandwich Shop is one of those stores that did not disappoint at all. I would definitely like to come here again and the owner is as welcoming as everyone else has described. 10/10 experience for sure.

Wow! Best sandwich I had in a while! I went with the Dutchman. Apologies I saved the second half for a photo but it didn't make it that far too good to resist!

Delicious sandwiches! Hard to find because it's inside a liquor store! We loved our sandwiches and the man that made them was really friendly!
