dinner has always been exceptional. its the quality of the food, fresh and delicious my husband and i leave with the feeling of having a very good experience. This is a place where you have fine dining and at the same time feeling satisfied with the portions. so many restaurants i have been to have great presentation big portions but to me the quality of their food and taste is not that great. the staff and servers are attentive, i felt like they really want to be working there and are happy, friendly nice people. They really want you to be happy and have a good dining experience.
We went for the Thanksgiving dinner with a prix fix menu. Michael, a busboy, was very pleasant and efficient. The ambiance was lovely and I recommend dining a bit before sunset. The mocktail I had, St. Nick Spritz, was good.
The food was great, the view beautiful but our waitress Sophie made our dinner even more over the top! She was awesome.
Moonraker was a delight! Food was fantastic...we had the seafood pasta and scallops and oysters! We also had two cocktails! The price of $85 was fantastic and the views of the ocean were epic! I would definitely do this again!
We've been here 5x this year and we love the ambience the food the service and desserts are amazing!
The food is upscale and the service is great. If you enjoy waterfront dining, the view is incredible. Definitely get a reservation.
I had a cioppino craving ( the pictures that they advertise for the cioppino looks nothing like what you receive) and actually still do because the cioppino at the Moonraker is overpriced and under whelming. 2 scallops, NO CALAMARI, 2 CLAWS. Who wants to put their fingers in a hot watery broth and crack crab shells????🤬🤬🤬🤬 not me. Figure it out. Charge $5 more for cleaned crab. DON'T ORDER THE CIOPPINO. $100 for cioppino and 1 drink plus chocolate moose. Fogetaboutit. Update. My girlfriend wanted to go here because she likes the bolognese. For a Friday night it was empty. A bus load of people could have been dropped off at the front door and they would not have had a problem getting a table. A true sign of another place going down.

Moonraker Restaurant is an exquisite seafood restaurant with an ocean view. It is located in Pacifica, California, Moonraker offers an exquisite dining experience with breathtaking ocean views. They’re renowned for their diverse menu, highlights include the Lobster Club Sandwich and Slow Cooked Pot Roast, both rich in flavors.
Atmosphere was relaxing with assiduous service staff. Moreover, their dim lit elegant dining area with ocean view and comfortable seats makes the food more romantic. We came for supper and were seated facing the ocean. KILLER View!
I had a Cesar Chicken Salad, Lobster Soup and Seafood pasta. Bloody fantastic! It hits everything from flavor to presentation. Prices were $$$ great. Service was on point. Parking lot was huge. Overall, I enjoyed my supper and experience at this seafood resto. I recommend it.

The Moonracker Restaurant is the nicest restaurant in Pacifica. Great place to take out of town guests or for a special occasion. A bit pricey but the food and service and view are all outstanding. You cannot get that view from any restaurant along the coast. (Except from the Taco Bell on the beach claimed to be the most beautiful Taco Bell in the world.) We were all happy with the experience. A definite recommend.
Our dinner was very good: we had jumbo prawns in cocktail sauce (love the horseradish! hurts so good!), Crab Cakes Starter, Petrale Sole Entree, Koltch lager beer, and a glass of Pendroncelli Cabernet. We enjoyed it all, and the service was attentive and provided for all of our needs.
Nice restaurant with good food and service. It's a little pricey, though. The location and views probably help to drive the price

The service was dismal, and the staff was unattentive. I ordered a Caesar Salad with dressing on the side, got a small wedge of romaine, no cheese, no fresh ground pepper. The wait staff never came around to check on us until it was time for the check, I could've asked them for the cheese and some pepper! I never did get a complete Caesar Salad, so I was unable to eat.
