Love the ocean views!! The best part of the restaurant is the booths that face the ocean :) Drinks were also really good - the fruity sunset drink was great and the lavender lemonade drink was also. The crab legs in the crab leg entree were AMAZING tasting! The veggie sides were only okay... The calamari app I would skip... wasnt too great. crab cakes were good but pricey .. but they had good flavor and good amounts of crab meat. All in all i would recommend when doing dinner in pacifica!

Unparalleled views with pretty good food and drinks. Service was quite good too. We ordered the jumbo prawns which were well made and crispy and the bacon wrapped dates filled with goat's cheese which was decent. Along with a glass of wine and sangria, our total was close to ~100 after taxes and tips.

The NY steak was just cooked perfectly the way I ordered. The other dish was Kobe Beef with Scallops. The scallops were so fresh and sweet and the Kobe Beef was super delicious. Perfect time is to start about an hour before and enjoy the desert over a romantic, peaceful Sunset scenery.

As we stepped into Moonraker Restaurant, we were immediately captivated by the stunning oceanfront view. The floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor patio seating area offer a direct line of sight to the crashing waves, making you feel like you're dining on the water's edge! The Grander Platters, a seafood mix platter, did not disappoint! Perfect for 4-5 people as an appetizer, it boasted an impressive variety of fresh seafood, including lobster, crab, shrimp, and oysters. We devoured every last bite! For our main courses, the standouts were: Lamb: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked to medium-rare Kobe Beef: melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and rich flavor Scallops: seared to perfection and served with a delightful citrus sauce Don't miss the creamy, comforting Clam Chowder and expertly cooked Steaks! Wine enthusiasts, rejoice! Moonraker's extensive list features an impressive selection of old and new world wines to complement your meal. Exceptional service, breathtaking views, and exquisite cuisine make Moonraker a must-visit destination in Pacifica. We can't wait to return!

Amazing views! Best oysters we've had in SF. We also had a Caesar's salad with anchovies and the seafood pasta that were both delicious.

This was our second year of enjoying Easter at Moonraker, and the overall experience was even better than our first! I had the "surf and turf" steak with lobster Mac, and stuffed dates - it was perfection, generous servings, great balance with the vegetables and onion rings, just perfection. My husband had the beef carpaggio which he loved, and the lam special which he loved - as well as the Sangria and also some Pinot Grigio (his fave). Followed by delicious desserts - apple crumble and molten lava chocolate. Really just a perfect meal, super service by David with support from a very friendly team. As a plus, we love the "reserve a specific booth" online feature that allows you to virtually tour the restaurant and pick a preferred table for a specified fee. Unfortunately the weather was gloomier as our meal progressed, but the view of the ocean is unsurpassed, parking is free and very convenient, and pricing is much more reasonable making it vastly worth the drive from SF (plus, no bodies to walk through along the way). The one factor that I wish would have been more like last year was the pianist - last year, a wonderful gentleman played during our noon reservation; today, shortly after our arrival for our 2 pm reservation, a different quite talented pianist was performing but took what seemed to be an extensive break shortly after, so the live music was missed by us both. Happily the gentleman from last year returned, but only as we were leaving - still, it was the perfect way for us to spend Easter, delicious food, great service, a value for a special occasion. Thanks David and team at the Moonraker!

Lunch was excellent. We started with the salad with apples, spicy pecans, & a lovely dressing. Then, I had the perfectly prepared, 3 large scallops on butternut squash purée, with a side of roasted brussels sprouts. Loved my entrée! My husband got the seafood pasta. There was very little pasta in the dish and tons of seafood! We also tried the lobster mac & cheese. It was fantastic! One piece of lobster on top in the shell, with a fabulous garlic butter sauce on the pasta. We sat in one of the special tables along the glass and really enjoyed watching the waves and surfers.

We were here with the family from America on 06.24.23 and were able to enjoy the very fresh and delicious food and the beautiful view without them, we would never have found the restaurant.

Good food, better views! They could splurge on more butter to bread ratio. Haha! The views are just unbelievable though!!!

It is all about the ambience here. I enjoyed the window seat with the sunset view. Food was pretty good and a notch better than Nick's which was closed that evening.

This place is a total hidden gem, tucked away in a dumpy old motel with an ocean view and piano providing an incredible atmosphere. I had the steak frites cooked to medium rare and that did not disappoint. Paired with a Rockefeller oyster appetizer I finished the entire plate with medium sized portions I finished quite happy. My one gripe is that our table also ordered a kids fried chicken. it was dry, over fried with too many breadcrumbs, and under seasoned. Though with my small gripes it still provided an excellent experience and if you’re ever in town at sunset please do come!Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options mainly with soups and saladsKid-friendliness: It is a fancy restaurant so not the most kid friendly but definitely accommodating for lower ages

Food and service was excellent. The food, delicious and presented beautifully. My husband sent back his dish because he didn't like it. Nothing wrong with the dish it just wasn't what he expected. They were extremely gracious about it and didn't charge us for it. I didn't expect that. The view is amazing. I would suggest making a reservation well before 24 hours in advance. You can then pick one of the tables that is right by the windows. We were seated up a tier that also had a great view of the Rockaway beach in Pacifico.
