Nicks is where it's at!!! The food was all extremely phenomenal, we loved it all. Desserts are decadent, drinks were fanatic!!
All that being said, it's three SERVICE... Server's, Bussers, Host & Hostesses went Above & Beyond to be sure that we had everything that we needed.
Nicks has Suuuper Friendly & Attentive Staff... & the BESSST Food Ever!!! We had the grilled crab sandwiches that were loaded w large, freshest succulent crab, & a bowl of thier 'famous' Clan Chowder. That combo was both Perfectly Delicious & Oh Sooo Satisfying!!!
THE AMBIANCE here, was phenomenal, & since we were there on a Friday... they're was Live Music too enjoy, after eating our meal.
We celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary that night, & customers that were celebrating thier 22nd anniversary sent us 2 glasses of our very favorite champagne, Domaine Chandon BRUTE to our table, which was sucha surprise... we were so DELIGHTED, to say the verrry least!!!
We HIGHLY Recommend NICKS!!!!! Prices are competitive, & reasonable

Tasty food, just a bit pricey for what you get

For me, the crab sandwich had way too much mayonnaise and not enough crab. It was big and a half a sandwich would’ve done as a meal, but I wouldn’t get it again.

Seafood combo, mussels, garlic bread and clam chowder. The garlic bread is buttery and full of garlic toasted. Large portion and good classic. The clam chowder was not chalky but smooth. Could use some more clams. The mussel broth was missing herbs, but otherwise fresh. The seafood combo was all deep fried. The batter for the Alaska cod was very crunchy, the calamari was good, the shrimp was but salty. Fries, just average. The cocktail and tartar sauce was good. I give overall taste about 3.5 to 4.0 for American style cruisine and would like to try their beef in the future. Wife felt the kitchen could be cleaner?.... For the amount of food and quality, price is ok.

Love the Band at Nick's. It is always a pleasure to hang out there on the coast of Pacifica.

Take in the view over the ocean and enjoy some crispy and light fish and chips or a nice crab sandwich on sourdough bread. Local beers on tap with live music at times and a bar area for a quick bite or drink.

A nice place to bring a special someone to wine and dine, as they say. The atmosphere and mood were welcoming and quite; the view, oh what a view of the sun setting against the back drop of the beach; and the food? That was awesome too. We started off with oysters on the half-shell, and worked our way into a massive plate with all the fixings -- crab, mussels, shrimp, a special sauce and plenty of garlic bread. Top that off with some fine wine, and we're good to go! It was a special treat, satisfying to me and my date. I love it! #TheBrokerWithAHeart

Nick's is a very unique place with a historic statue in the area. It is well worth visiting. The food is good over all, the people are friendly and the bar makes good drinks too.

When I have a birthday I like to celebrate it here. Sometimes we go with visitors. The staff are friendly and kind and there is a wide selection so even if one doesn’t care for fish there are choices on the menu.

I visited here on Saturday 30th Aug…I flew from Grand Cayman - Miami - SFO and landed that morning…I was in the area to see my favourite band play at the Shoreline Amphitheatre later that day…I chose the restaurant because I wanted a place overlooking the Pacific Ocean and had good reviews as I had a few hours to kill before the gig…checked on google maps…and I’m so happy I chose this place! Really friendly staff, think my server’s name was Jessica, and the other girl who got my cocktail was lovely too! Waited around 45 mins for the table, I went for a walk along the ocean whilst waiting…had the ‘some like it hot’ cocktail, mocha, three cups of coffee (jet lag), the crab with sourdough and lamb shops with the shrimp and mash…loved it all!!! Had a great table by the window. Took a postcard and napkin as souvenirs. Chilled and charged my phone after my meal, they were so busy but they never made me feel rushed etc. Will definitely be back when we’re next in the area! Beautiful location!!!

I’m very disappointed with the service we received during our recent visit. We’ve been to this restaurant before and enjoyed the food, which is why I’m giving it two stars, but the experience this time was absolutely unacceptable. We arrived with our puppy, who was in the process of being certified. The front-end manager allowed us in, and we were seated without issue. However, shortly after sitting down, the same manager came to our table and told us we had to leave. No clear reason was given, and we were treated with total disrespect. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a restaurant, and it’s incredibly frustrating because we’ve been loyal customers in the past. The manager, who frankly looked like she could use a lesson in basic customer service, was rude and unprofessional. She lost us as customers, and we will be sharing this negative experience with others. The food is good, but if you’re looking for a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, this is not the place. They really need to rethink their staff and training on how to treat customers.

Fast service and the restaurant is by the ocean. The food is good, not a big fan of their clam chowder.
