Came here with a vegan friend to try some of the vegan pastries!! Not everything is vegan and they have a rotating menu, but everything that we got was delicious. Some bakeries try really hard with vegan ingredient substitutes and they're not quite as good or moist as the full dairy options with egg etc. But Saltwater Bakery actually does an amazing job of creating vegan desserts that you'd never know were vegan, they're just tasty treats!I tried a peach cardamom cornbread muffin (vegan) which was freshly baked and the smell was mouthwatering... The crunchy sugar on top made such a difference! My vegan friend got the double chocolate donut, a chocolate chip walnut sea salt cookie and a slice of the banana walnut bread. She loved all 3, the box barely made it home with us before everything was all gone!

Love this place! The BEST gluten free baked goods on the entire peninsula and super delish coffee drinks, especially the seasonal drinks! Always ask the employees for their recommendations so you don't miss out on a special treat. I love starting here and walking over to Royal Bee Yarns for a super cozy weekend morning!! This is a bakery and not a restaurant, so there is no indoor seating or public bathroom. If you're in need of either, plan accordingly. Pick up a box of gluten free goodies (omg the chocolate donuts win me over EVERY time!!) and take them in to the office to make some best friends at work!

Living a few blocks away, I would come here regularly. The coffee is extraordinary and the bakery goods are delicious!

The coffee is great, but the best part is all of the vegan pastries! It can be so hard to find you in one option without dairy and this place had so many it was hard for me to decide what to get. The cornbread muffin is incredible. And the service is very friendly

This Bakery "knocks it out of the ballpark" with their gluten free items - especially if you've had real bad bakes in the past years, from other places. I'm not much of a biscotti fan, but Saltwater Bakery's biscotti are SCRUMPTIOUS and have made me a happy convert to the double baked cookie.?Their Wellness Drinks are delicious and unusual ☕ ALWAYS look forward to Wednesday now!

Although they aren't fully vegan they have a ton of vegan options from drinks to pastries. Not a lot of vegan options on the coast and definitely appreciate this place being here.

One word...fantabulous!!! OMG! The gluten free baked goods these folks produce are out of this world! Arrived at opening and my blueberry muffin was still warm when I got it home! It was moist with big blueberries ... absolutely mouth wateringly delicious! If you are in Pacifica and are looking for out of this world gluten free and/vegan options THIS is your place. Just a side note, the owner confirmed they are actually opened Wednesday to Sunday 8-1, Google has it wrong! So go visit these wonderful folks and get your gluten free treats!!!

Love this place. Everything I've had is great from the donuts, to muffins and breads, and drinks too. The staff is always friendly, too.

Came here on a Sunday around noon, an hour before closing. We were browsing Pacifica to get a caffeine fix. This shop had plenty of options for pastries, as well as a variety of coffee and tea drinks. I like how all of their drinks came with a tiny cookie that seemed to have coffee in it. Reminded me of getting drinks in Europe. Brown sugar lattes - My brother and I enjoyed our lattes. It was not too sweet. With the selection that they have, I don't think you can go wrong with anything. The drinks came out promptly. Orange blossom scone - Although this said scone, it didn't have the texture of a scone. It was not dense, but rather very puffy like a cake. It was fragrant too. I enjoyed it. Tea latte - This came with a beautiful circular tea ice cube with flowers in it. This is smart because it didn't dilate the drink. My cousin liked his drink. He drank it pretty fast and left it in the sun for the ice cube to melt for a second round. I'm not entirely sure what was in the ice cube, but it looks like it was a tea. They also have a selection of pastries with gluten-free, vegan options. We got a vegan chocolate doughnut to share with my nephew. It definitely tasted vegan LOL. It was super dense and not that sweet. Overall, this was a nice small business to visit. I liked the options that they provided.

First found out about Saltwater Bakery when I craved dairy-free desserts during the holidays. Wish I knew about this gem in Pacifica sooner! Everything is dairy and gluten free with some egg-free and nut-free options. Almond milk is used as a dairy-substitute for most items, excluding the nut-free pastries (party cookie and seed bread). I really like the coffee cake and orange blossom scones for the texture: light and melts in your mouth. The party cookie is pretty new and it tastes like a crispy sugar cookie. Can't believe it's vegan and nut-free! Seed bread is super hearty and tastes so good with vegan cream cheese. The drink menu is by default dairy-free (but whole milk and half-and-half are available) and vegan if you sub agave for any honey drinks. Coffee is from Proyecto Diaz and syrups are made in-house. I mean... I liked it so much that I now work here! FYI: hours are currently Thursday-Sunday 8am-1pm, to-go only with limited outdoor seating, you can place orders in advance either via email or in-store, cash discount, plenty of street parking, no public restroom

One of the best lattes I've ever had. The blueberry muffin was delicious and love the fact that it's gluten free also. Definitely coming back!!

Absolutely delicious gluten free treats. It wasn’t clear to me that everything was gluten free so had to ask.

Cannot stop thinking about the peach cardamom muffin! Stopped in as a halfway mark on a brisk Saturday morning walk with my girl Heegy and got the muffin, a half caf iced Americano, and a free cookie (!) and was charmed. I'd heard of Saltwater but hadn't made it in until this day, and I will be back soon. The muffin mentioned was soft on the bottom, sweet and a little crunchy on top with big, juicy chunks of peach throughout. I had to stop eating it on the walk so I could share with my husband, but ended up scarfing it down in the drive home! They also have donuts, cookies, and other pastries. Cute neighborhood right up from the pier/ocean and lots of little shops. Big fan.
