I got a super delicious sweet potato pie before Christmas for my boyfriend here on Xmas Eve. The people that work there are super sweet and returned my call when they were really busy with preorders. They went above and beyond to let me know that they had a preorder that ended up getting cancelled so I could pick it up by the end of the day. The shop itself is very cute and looks like a nice place to eat some slices.

Great little pies! Always fun to snag a variety of flavors. My new go-to instead of birthday cakes and cupcakes for group desserts.

Never been to a worse establishment. Pies seemed old on some and mushy, soggy crust and just lack of flavor. The owner was yelling at what looked like a customer or employee and have not been back since! Everything is overpriced. And the once great chocolate chip cookies are now bland dust filled cookies with horrible chocolate. Should be a paper weight.....

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with a severe dairy allergy. So, most desert options are off the table for me. It was rather life changing. Now, when I was young my favorite pie was without doubt, Lemon Meringue. Well, no more of that for me! But then I found Shampa’s and asked if they could do a dairy-free version. This sounds easy, but it’s not. At least if you want it to taste authentic. Well, Shampa’s did just that! Took me right back to my childhood. And if that can do that pie, they can do anything. So if you are looking for a pie on the Peninsula, you can never go wrong with Shampa’s!!Dietary restrictions: They will make many pies using non-dairy ingredients. Not all can be done, but many.

I used to be someone that would "spread the love" at various bakeries. But these days I will only get my pies from Shampa's. Not the cheapest, but neither are the ingredients. The last pecan bourbon pie was stuffed with the high dollar nuts. The sweet potato-ginger tastes like they use fresh ginger. The staff is always wonderful and can be very accommodating, just be a nice decent human and they treat you the same. Pro tip: they rarely have hand pies available at the store, as they sell at farmers markets. But just ask if they currently have some available and you just might score one fresh from the oven!

Great pie I have ever had!!! The owner is pleasant and understanding. The place is clean, though not huge, it feels familiar.

On a whim my wife and I were walking by and saw their sign. We both thought to get a pie (and two cookies as a bonus). Amazing. The treats were delicious! We will definitely be coming back for more. Their hospitality was great as well!

A charming pie shop but pies are not good. Crust was soggy, and we found a long golden hair in the middle of our pie.

My friend and I went to Pacifica to gather food for a mini-birthday picnic at Grey Whale Cove State Beach. We stopped in Shampa's, and immediately, we felt like we were among friends or family. The friendly mother and daughter (Margaret and Simone?) were warm and helpful, explaining all of the flavors and specials. We bought 5 mini-pies, and my favorite was the chocolate (with Guittard chocolate!). The pie fillings were the stars: rich chocolate, bright fruit flavors, and not too much thickener or sugar. The crust didn't have much structural integrity, but was very tasty. Shampa's Pies flies the Progress Pride flag in front of their business. My friend and I are not part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, but that welcoming symbol made us even happier to be supporting this local business. Yes, we had a lovely picnic with Dinosaurs' bánh mì and our pies, but the delightful proprietors of that bakery added a special shine to that day.

I struggle to find the words to describe my love for Shampa's Pies; they're a charming, family-owned bakery, both of which are factors that are clear in the delicious pies they bake. Every time I stop by their Outer Sunset farmer's market stall, I'm greeted with a smile and kind conversation. As a passionate citrus fan, their lemon chess pie takes the cake for me; a perfect balance of tart and sweet. They also excel in the autumnal classics like apple, pumpkin, and pecan. I'm also a huge fan of the different sizes, a mini pie or hand pie is perfect for on-the-go or just for one, and their larger sizes are perfect for a family gathering over the holidays; my family and I know Shampa's to be the perfect place to get a delicious pumpkin pie. All in all, Shampa's is definitely one of my favorite Bay Area bakery spots of all time, and if you're ever in the Pacifica area or passing by their stall at the farmer's market, be sure to grab yourself a delicious treat made with love.

We stopped at Shamp's Piez to give it a try. Sweet potato pie was good. Could use some butter in their crust. The main issue I have is the price of their hand pies. They are smaller than most tarts I've had. The price of $7.00, for me, is too high. I would pay $5.00 but no more based on the size.To be fair, I think you should give it a try and post what you think. I did not try any other flavor.

The chocolate one was so good we went back for another one! Love the bourbon pecan pie, too.

Not fans. Pie crust was gooey. And my chocolate chip cookie had no chocolate. Bummer.

The Hand Pies and Mini Pies were amazing. Out of this world! Omgggggg you need to try them. The best for us were the Blueberry and Apple Cobbler. The service is excellent. They are so kind and attentive. You can tell they love what they do. Go try them!! You won't be disappointed
