We went strictly for dessert and it was great. We had a swirl soft serve and then got 2 whoopie pies which were huge and delicious. We got the chocolate and the pistachio. Both were moist with great texture and the right level of sweetness. The soft serve was delicious and went with the whoopie pies perfectly.

Shore Shack possesses that Old School 50s Diner vibe we all love. Their awesome, diverse menu has the best Best Smash Burgers, Chicken Wings and Organic Soft Serve Ice Cream in town! Not to mention Hawaiin Drive Inn Classics!
Great place to have Birthday Parties and Post Sports Season Celebrations! The kids will love it.
My only request is to get a Nuckear Sauce Option for the Wings for us Hot n Spicy addicts who like our faces melted off.

In addition to the burgers (including turkey!) you would expect from a diner style restaurant they also have several Hawaiian BBQ offerings and other things you wouldn't expect like a lobster roll.
We ordered the opened faced sandwich with roast beef and the lobster roll and both were fantastic! We'll definitely be back soon.
I ordered a lobster roll and when I got it took one bite and was not able to eat it. The lobster was like rubber and could not bite through it. It was so bad I could not even pull the lobster apart. I told the waitress and she was very apologetic and said she would tell the cooks and owner. I ordered some different food which I paid for. I was never offered to be refunded or my second order of food, which cost less, be compensated.
On my way out I asked the owner if he had been told about my food he just said yes and looked at me, not even an apology for that he uneatable food.
I was very surprised because this place had very good reviews.

The location is great, the people were lovely, but the food was really not good.
Chili dogs: tots and fries were great! But the chili wasn’t hot enough to even melt the cheese though. It was lukewarm overall and nothing special.
Corn dogs: the batter was delicious and hot, but the hot dog itself was literally cold. Seemed like what happens when you microwave a frozen hot dog.
Lobster roll: the lobster was great, but it was really small and sad for $30. Ordered with mac and cheese, which literally looked and tasted like Kraft mac and cheese. The kids loved it, I guess that’s good?
Other notes: there was a hair in our fries…. Also, the box they gave us to pack up our food was dirty on the bottom like it had been dragged across the floor.
Stopped in for a little snack. We ordered the beef corn dog with homemade potato chips and a soft serve. All were fantastic. The potato chips are perfectly seasoned and melt in your mouth. The soft serve was extremely creamy and delicious. The corn dog has a high quality hot dog and a light, but flavorful batter and was filling.

Heard this place was open and couldn’t wait to give it a try. Not surprisingly they have this place pretty dialed even in their first week of opening but they are no rookies when it comes to running restaurants! Food was great, I think the house chips are awesome , this place will undoubtedly be a cash cow and the go to spot for family dining in Pacifica. Saw lots of friendly and familiar faces and it already just has that local vibe that Pacifica is known for. I had a root beer float , a bbq bacon cheeseburger , house chips, everything was great. In the spirit of being critical since after all this is the space for it, I noticed the windows needed a good cleaning inside and out and that is just a small detail that would have made for an A++. I look forward to coming back and having a local owned and operated place to take the fam!

The time has finally come for me to review the most anticipated new restaurant in Pacifica. The Shore Shack in Rockaway Beach opened earlier this week, and unfortunately, I was unable to visit on opening day. Still, I was able to hit it up last night (Friday) to show support for a cherished father-and-son duo who operate the award-winning Breakers, which is next door to the Shore Shack in Rockaway Beach.
Upon arrival around 7:00 PM with my family of four. We were greeted by friendly staff as we waited approximately 15 minutes to place our order, then found a seat. We all ordered different items from their vast menu. I will do my best to review each item below, but overall, we got several different burgers, grilled short ribs, and a corn dog, lol. The design of The Shore Shack resembles a 50s diner set in an island paradise (walk outside and look at the ocean water at Rockaway Beach).
Once we were seated, our drinks were delivered to our table within 5 minutes, which is impressive given how busy they were at this hour. The place was packed with no tables available for a short period. The staff was very attentive in clearing and cleaning the tables so new guests could sit and enjoy their food. The overall wait for our food was about 20-25 minutes, but it was well worth it. So with that said, let's dive into what we ordered and the reviews.
My father-in-law ordered a smash burger with fries, and it came out piping hot. It was wrapped in diner-inspired paper and cooked to perfection. My father-in-law said the burger was one of the best smash burgers he had ever had.
My mother-in-law ordered the Hawaiian grilled short ribs with macaroni salad and rice. Her ribs were grilled perfectly and not overly salted, unlike other restaurants. The ribs practically fell off the bone, and the meat was so juicy and tender. The macaroni salad was out of this world, as evidenced by the fact that there was none left on the plate when she was done. She stated she would love to have that macaroni salad with any other entree when we visit again.
My wife ordered the turkey burger with tater tots, and boy, was she blown away. The burger was cooked to perfection, and all the toppings were fresh and delicious. The tater tots were piping hot with just the right crispiness that you expect from a great tater tot.
Yours truly ordered a double cheeseburger with extra cheese along with French fries. The burger was made exactly as I requested (medium well), and the fries were perfectly crisped. I can admit that this was one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. It beats out all the competing burger restaurants in town and across the region.
Additionally, I ordered one of their beef corn dogs with tater tots, as I LOVE corn dogs and you cannot usually find them in restaurants. This was the best corn dog I have ever had. I was expecting this to be a frozen-style corn dog, cooked to order. However, this was a big, juicy, hot dog, made to order and dipped in batter. It had the perfect amount of breading and was piping hot when it arrived. I will definitely order more of these in the future as it's one of my favorite grab-and-go items.
If all that wasn't enough, the employees were bringing around samples of their soft-serve ice cream, and OMG, it was delicious. We will definitely order some of the soft serve in the future, as it's better than anyone else's.
Overall, we were blown away by the staff's customer service and the quality of the food. The Shore Shack is exactly what Pacifica needed, and I implore you to get out and visit as soon as possible. This place is going to get extremely popular very quickly.
