A very special tasting awaits you at Tripp Distillery. Jason is doing some magic. Stop by - always an unusual and fun experience- a wee bar in the middle of a quiet street full of interesting experiences.

I love this place. Small and eclectic. Jason is awesome, and of course, it's very Pacifica.

Hidden gem located in Pacifica. Was Yelping breweries in the area and Tripp distillery came up in the search, looked like a unique experience so knew we had to give it a try!Tasting was offered/lead by Jason, the owner/spirit maker. They offered a you-choose flight of 3 with about 8 different liquors to pick from. They had all the ones pictured on the board as well as a couple that hadn't quite made full production yet. Between my boyfriend and I's flights we were able to taste 6. Went with rum, brandy, sassafras, a red vodka not on the list, a special blue lotus flower gin, and the single malt whiskey. The liquors tatsted great and it was a lot of fun talking with Jason about how he makes the different spirits. Can't wait for that blue lotus flower gin to be available for purchase! We didn't spend a long time here as it was a 3 taste max, but it was a fun little pit stop on our day. The entrance was a little hidden, but we saw the sign and knew we were headed in the right direction. There's no real big front entrance, just their name on a door letting you know they're there. Almost felt like a speakeasy since it was so un-showy. Street parking is available and plentiful.

Very small little eclectic place that seems like a literal whole in the wall spot. Disorganized tasting area and service was good. We tried the whisky that was ok. The brandy is smooth but only has one bite to it and then it falls flat on the back end. I really don't see it as sipper to enjoy multiple times. After that we paid and left after trying 2 spirits. If your military be careful not to try the Sassafras Liqueur, it may have naturally derived ingredients that will not be good for your career according to the server. Once I heard that it was to stop tasting and leave.

Go here, one of a kind drinks, high quality and great appetizers. It has a homey type vibe where people go to relax and chat. The owners are great hosts and very friendly and personable. They make their own brand of rum and other drinks and there's never a parking issue. This place is a hidden gem, go there, you won't be disappointed.

Picked up a bottle of a local Pacifica’s Tripp Distillery, last week, had it chilling in the freezer and week. Tonight we cracked it open and mixed it with a blood orange mix. Very good combo. Definitely one to have in your arsenal of bottles for special occasions. Also picked up a bottle of their rum, can’t wait to mix some Cuba Libre. Support your local businesses and pick up one of these for your next drink.

Impressive selection. Was surprised to find this while I was waiting for my dog to be groomed at the nearby Petsmart.

Great little spot to stop at and learn about their terrific spirits and have a drink. Jason the owner is passionate about his craft and it shows in his unique products. Clearly popular with the locals, you will quickly feel at home; perfect way to finish off a weekend afternoon.

We are exploring the area before we fly back to NC and stopped in for a whiskey tasting and was beyond surprised how good it was. The IPA whiskey was amazing and the customer service was on point.

Love having Tripp's so close by. The staff/owner is really friendly with customers and shares a lot about what sorta stuff they have brewing. He alsoAllows taste testing of the different spirits they have available and also stuff that is coming in the future. I picked up a bottle of their delicious rum and tried some white whiskey that was partly through the distilling process... support local biz!! This one is a gem

Small batch distilleries have a special quality. I've visited a few times. His vodka is super smooth (the owner, Jason Tripp made a vodka cranberry cocktail for me to try). I bought a bottle of vodka & rum for myself & gin as a gift for a friend. He told me that the green gin turns blue when it's introduced to an acidic ingredient, such as quinine water. Jason has won awards for each of his liquors. He said that owning his own distillery is a dream come true. No food available. Street parking is pretty easy. During Covid, Jason made hand sanitizer which was 70% alcohol, thus extremely flammable but effective & selling for $1 per oz. Update! As of 5/6/2020, Due to the City of Pacifica, hand sanitizer will no longer be offered.

The gin is amazing! Very unique botanicals or something - excellent for a G&T with a unique taste. And it turns pink when it hits ice. We're going back to try the vodka.

The owner has such a great personality and has so much care & compassion in his business. And it truly reflects on his products! Very high quality liquor. I had the feel that this was the owners joy and dreams. Why not support him over anyone else? With the effort and precision he applies, he certainly deserves it. P.s. THIS GUY ALSO SELLS HAND SANITIZER! WHEN NO BODY ELSE IS HAS ANY!!
