What happened? We have ordering take out from here for awhile but common. Teriyaki steak has been tough as leather lately . The rice dry and lumpy last night .Seriously.It seemed day old.I want to dine local but my rule is one bad experience no mas.. Step up your game .

Food was beyond fresh and delicious And honestly the best sushi I've had thus far. The plum wine was so smooth and sweet I will always highly recommend this place to anyone, so what more can I say then you should check this place out no hesitation.

The food is good, but they don't follow opening hours and close whenever they want if business is slow, turning me away at 8pm. They also insisted chef's choice is indeed chef's choice when I told them I was allergic to octopus and to switch this out, still serving me octopus. For these reasons I won't be back.

To start off, the table was greasy, ordered edamame. Had to ask for ginger and wasabi. My plate was dirty, asked for a clean plate, was given a clean plate with no apology. There were not busy for 6pm on a Tuesday. The rolls we ordered were just okay. We come to Pacifica once a year, third time coming here, sadly we won't, be coming back!!

Stopped here for dinner on a Friday night at 6pm. Still several tables open, so no need for a reservation. Food was good. Started with edamame and gyoza, both were tasty. We had the teriyaki dinners: chicken, salmon, and beef (ribeye). The flavors were good and food was fresh and hot. Dinner included miso soup and side salad, which were a nice touch. The ribeye was charred to perfection but parts were tough. The chicken isn’t a cleaned and light breast, but didn’t seem like dark meat. Salmon was overall the best of the three. Parking lot is small, but enough for this restaurant. Inside was nicely done and decorated.
Expensive and food was just ok too
My partner and I ordered food on DoorDash from this establishment last Sunday evening 5/11. It was the only food I ate besides a packaged protein bar all day. I felt good and even did intense yoga before eating Uoyakutei’s sushi. The next day I woke up acutely ill with food poisoning symptoms, particularly nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, et cetera. It’s now 4 days later and I still feel sick. Diners beware…
Decent Japanese food, especially in the area! Weird how they didn’t share the WiFi info as there’s a QR code for ordering (and reception is horrible)…
