I used to ride my motorcycle to Panoche Inn often when I lived in California. It is a great fun place with lots of atmosphere and good vibe. Larry and Cheryl, the former owners, were wonderful and also motorcycle riders. I rode out a couple of times after the sold it and before we moved, and the new owners were top notch as well. Panoche Inn is a welcoming spot with extremely friendly and helpful people. It's a fun place to grab a beer and some food, reminiscent of the tv show Cheers. Located in a remote area, it can be a challenge to find, but the journey is worth it. The surroundings are sparse, but the warm atmosphere makes up for it. The route to the inn may require a truck due to bumpy roads, but following Google Maps carefully will lead you there. For the return trip, there are multiple scenic routes to explore nearby areas like Mercy Hot Springs and Tres Pinos. A helpful stop for travelers looking for a unique experience off the beaten path.
