“All too often, I see people quick to complain about a business, but I wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to Heavenly Bakery. I pre-ordered a cake for an office baby shower weeks ago and when I went to pick it up this morning on my way to my office in Morgan Hill, I could see the kind employee searching everywhere for my cake. As I stood there (whispering a silent prayer for grace and understanding) I knew they did not have my cake ready. Most businesses at this point would have owned their mistake, gave me a refund, and I would have been out of luck. This is NOT what happened, the employee got on the phone with the owner who said they would get this cake made and DELIVERED to Morgan Hill by noon today before the baby shower. I was absolutely impressed by the level of customer service I received.As a long time manager of a local business, I understand that mistakes can happen, however I also think that mistakes are one of the best ways that you can WOW a customer by how you offer to remedy the situation. I truly was WOW’d and appreciate more than words can say, the level of customer service that was offered as this is becoming a lost art in our fast-paced world. This owner truly cares about her customers and her business and it shows! I have used Heavenly Bakery several times in the past, and will loyally use them for all my bakery needs moving forward. Every person I have told about this will be using them now too. There truly is something to be said for word of mouth, even though I am only one person, because of them going above and beyond, I have told at least 10 people about it. Each and every customer counts and for every great or terrible experience someone has they will go tell all their friends and family about it (typically about 5-10 people), so each and every person matters. I do not know anyone’s name from there, but if they are on here, thank you for turning this mistake into a remarkable experience, kudos to the whole team and the owner! The cake was absolutely HEAVENLY as well!”

“This place is a dive bar in all the best ways. The locals were friendly and there is a lot of biker history there too. Friendly bartenders and good service. I had the Original Johnny's burger. I love a good burger and this one is in my top five (nod to High Fidelity). It's a big burger with even bigger flavors. If I'm ever in the area or "kind of " in the area I will go back. Thank you Johnny's.”

“Came here with a group of 11. Food was fantastic and portions were HUGE. I had a short stack of 2 flapjacks and they were massive- the pic does not do it justice. I also had a side of sausage links which came with 3 links. My daughter had silver dollar pancakes (which were the size of regular pancakes) and a side of extra crispy bacon. Another daughter had a breakfast burrito which was also gargantuan. Our server was so friendly and sweet and took care of several special requests and kept the coffee flowing. The menu includes plenty of both breakfast and lunch items and all in our party really enjoyed their meals.”

“I was in the drive thru. Everything was all you would expect from fast food:. Clean, fresh, friendly, french fries were crispy and easy to eat. They didn't chock me up like McDonalds fries. McDonalds fries, even small amounts .., get stuck in my esophagus. Lol. So I was glad these from A&W were fresh. :)”

“Stopping by on a roadtrip, this place can be described as a diamond in the rough. This place is genuinely one the best ice cream in terms of quality, price, and taste. The place is beautiful decorated with a very friendly, clean and cute atmosphere. It was not very busy at 4 on Sunday but I wouldn't doubt that they get busy later on. If you do go here, I highly highly recommend the Horchata Ice Cream; the flavors mix so well in this flavor it is my all time favorite ice cream. The mint chocolate and cookies and cream are also very very good. If you happen to the in the area for a sweet bite, don't be shy to swing by this lovely establishment.”

“It's my second time eating here. Service was quick. Me and my husband had brunch here on a holiday and there were a few customers. The food we ordered were all very delicious. Their nachos I assume are made in house since it was warm when it was served and the guacamole and salsa hits the spot. I like their pina colada..you can taste a small hint of alcohol. I would come back here again to try their other food. And, the ambiance feels that you're back in Mexico with the colorful interior. Everything feels authentic in this place.”

Wish this place was a chain restaurant.Walking in we were greeted by the friendly cashier boy, asking us what we wanted. We took a minute because their menu was so large and it was our first time, but the ordering process was super simple. My boyfriend and I paid, grabbed his Mexican Coca-Cola, and seated ourselves.The cashier boy came over and brought two salsa bottles out with a basket of chips, free of charge! Red was very spicy, and I don't say this lightly. I'm half Mexican, okay!! My boyfriend and I both favored the green salsa. He said the chips weren't his favorite, they weren't salty enough for his liking and I found them a bit too thick and rough, but I will forgive that, especially since they were free!The food came out not even 5 chips in! Very quick service, but we also were the only ones in the restaurant. Not very busy for about 8pm on a Saturday. My chicken tacos ($3 each) were delicious, they didn't skimp on the meat, onion, OR cilantro. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and also juicy. It was very hot and fresh. Not spicy. My boyfriends burrito came out shortly after, really good as well. Very hot to the touch and you could tell the meat was just cooked!!TLDR: Great, authentic Mexican food for an affordable price. Free chips & salsa appetizer, quick service and clean tables/establishment overall! DEFINITELY stop by here if you have a taco craving!”

“My daughter treated me to a birthday dinner at Running Rooster. It is located in downtown Hollister. The restaurant has ample seating and a nice bar. Parking is somewhat limited, but there is generally street parking available.I started off with a glass of DeRose Parróne Blend. We ordered two appetizers: Chips & Dips from the standard menu and Lobster Mac from their special menu. The Chips and Dips came with salsa roja, salsa verde, and your choice of queso dip or guacamole. We opted for the queso dip. The appetizer was good, especially the queso. The salsa roja had a thick, somewhat creamy texture. It wasn't bad, just not the kind of salsa I was expecting. The Lobster Mac was pretty good as well. It consisted of the usual cheesy macaroni noodles, but had plenty of lobster chunks and small, stemmed mushrooms (maybe beech mushrooms?). The whole dish was topped with baked, crusted cheese and piping hot.For my meal, I ordered the Cowboy Burger and upgraded to Garlic Fries. The burger had a great flavor, but the patty wasn't as juicy as I would have liked. It may have been slightly overcooked. The burger toppings included the usual lettuce, tomato and pickles, but also pepper jack cheese, bacon, one large onion ring, and "yeehaw" sauce. All in all, a flavorful burger. My daughter ordered the Mushroom Burger with the onion rings upgrade. She too had the same experience as I did with my burger because her patty was also a bit too dry/overcooked.We ordered a shared dessert, the cheesecake, and opted for a lemon topping. The cheesecake was very good and the topping was the right amount of sweet and tangy.Our server was attentive but not intrusive and she was very pleasant. I like the ambiance of Running Rooster. I do feel the burgers could have been a bit more juicy, but really, the food was good and we'll be going back. Recommended!”

“The service is pretty good, portions are a good size. It's usually busy but we've never had to wait terribly long. Great for families or big groups being that it's loud. Our server was super helpful and recommended a soggy margarita with Tajín on the rim which was delicious.”
