Got there coming from Coalinga north on the 5 then,the exit on Panoche Rd. Then I followed Panoche Rd over the Tomey Hills, skipping all the gas stations and restaurants. You'll need a truck for this route cause the roads get very bumpy all after that. Check Google Map really good, trust the route, and go for it, won't regret it when you get there. I had just made it over those hills on Panoche Rd coming from the HWY 5, instead of taking Little Panoche Rd from Mercy Hot Springs, when I decide to to see if my dollar bill was still on the wall; still was and the bar keep was cool, so was the rest of the people there. Some had motorcycles which was cool, a few pick ups there go figure my own truck was there too. Fun place to stop for a beer and some food, although I didn't have any food.I'll have to come back for the food :-)There really isn't anything else around but I'm not putting this place down. I think this place like the tv show Cheers. Getting here was the fun part. I was basically driving for 45 minutes in the middle of nowhere and voila, this place appears.
