“Still by far the best diner in salinas. Maybe you guys can consider using the whole restaurant so everybody isn't lumped together in one noisy area in the back. You have these big beautiful windows with a view of the street and the food counter. Maybe use that?”

“This is an experience you should not pass on. So far this is the best Chinese restaurant we have eaten at in Salinas, CA. Limited parking. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Wonton soup was flavorful with soft wonton. The chow mein noodles were soft and chewy (not for everyone) but the flavor was amazing. The fried rice did not have peas and carrots in it, as it should be. They did use green onions. The fried prawns were crunchy and non greasy but hot, same with the egg rolls. The sweet and sour pork was had hand dipped quality and cooked. The breading on the outside was not traditional like what you would find at a buffet. They seem to take pride in the food they serve and it shows. We will be going back as this is a place that is save on our phone and in our stomachs.”

“We have lived in Salinas for over 50 years and can truly say Taquitos is amazing. The food is always on point perfect! The restaurant employees are always so nice. They make you feel at home. We highly recommend Taquitos Restaurant. Today was Father’s Day and the Fajitas were delicious! My husband had the best Father’s Day dinner out. Thank you Taquitos you are the best!”

“Great beer. The hot honey pizza was ok, needed more pepperoni and hot honey. The bbq chicken pizza was flavorful. The cauliflower appetizer was great- a little sweet and a little spicy. Loud environment and energetic. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was very busy on a Friday night. The pear tart was great, and th special sticky toffee pudding was good- a little sweet to my liking but expected. Will go back for sure. I felt the prices were reasonable.”

“Yummy fresh healthy scrumptious mouthwatering dense fluffy flaky buttery sweet morsel teeth sharpening tongue lapping are just some of the word’s adjectives that I would use to describe peninsula pastries. You don’t stay in business for 23 years by being average. So above average quality baked goods that will make you return time after time. Great customer service as well and more importantly you can place specialty orders or simply be surprised by what treats you may discover on any given day.”
